learning by trial and error is great in this games because when you're learning you're making thousand of virtual people's lives miserable
also between the trailer and the opening logo id say it's not a good indication of this being an adult / hardcore game
Maxis Trailers were never really that serious.

Wait what
Is that for SimCity5? Trust EA to be greedy as usual.

Crime Waves don't really sound like much of a bonus.
"images not representative of actual gameplay"
They snuck that in and hid it but I saw it. I *hope* that SimCity 5 looks that good, then again as long as its as complex as Sim City 4, it should hold well through time

I am wondering about this whole character business...
Is it gonna be like sim city 4 where you could place people and in rush hour select cars and drive em around?
I hope EA wont fuck this up. I heard Will Wright is not on this project.

After spore being a massive let down I think that's a good thing. And before you pretend Spore being a massive let down was EA's fault, think again: http://multiplayerblog.mtv.com/2008/09/07/will-wright-reacts-to-crtical-spore-reviews/
As wonderful as the content creation and sharing options are, the one consistent complaint I've seen is that the gameplay seems to have been "dumbed down" for the sake of appealing to a more casual audience. Was it?
"I'd say that's quite accurate," Wright told me. "We were very focused, if anything, on making a game for more casual players."
I'm not sure what to think, sounds like it will be awesome but I have been disappointed by quite a lot of games recently
Is there an option to let Bowser destroy the city?
I can't wait for this.

Didn't Wright leave Maxis after Spore?
Loved that pear logo
