Oh? What about the helicopter scene? The wrestling scene? It's almost impossible to play through Purist because of the shitty new disguise system.
What about the helicopter scene? You run trough a building as a helicopter is shooting at you and that lasts for like 5 minutes. And the wrestling scene is just a way you can kill your target in that mission. Should I remind you of the nightclub that consisted mostly of almost naked hookers and one of them tried to kill you?
See the issue is you're (For example) wearing a cop disguise in a crowd of cops. That won't work. A janitors outfit on the other hand will get you off scott free. There's less of a chance of a cop recognizing a random janitor then recognizing you're wearing his buddy's uniform.

Have you tried playing purist mode?
Because when someone sees you're dressed like them, they're probably like "oh shit I probably know this guy" but then they see you're not doing what you're supposed to be doing and they're like "who the fuck is that exactly"

But not a wrestler in a mask in a wrestling tournament/match?
Wow, so that's what the interface looks like when you deep in gameplay like that? Sheesh, now i'm even more glad that i play in purity mode with it off. Yeah it helps but it kind of takes up a lot on the screen.
About the AI gentlemen, Eidos has acknowledged the problems with the disguises and is fixing it.
i love when people complain about npcs seeing through your disguise when it specifically tells you you can use instinct to blend in. and the fact that you're a bald guy that looks absolutely nothing like the dude that just left the room and never came back. besides, the only people that see through your disguise are superiors (like guards, if you are trespassing) and those of the same costume as you. i guess if disguises arent your thing you can attempt suit-only.
Oh? What about the helicopter scene? The wrestling scene? I believe IO Interactive said that if nobody on the team could beat it in purist, then it was complete. It's for the absolutely crazy Hitman fans that want a challenge. In theory, the disguise system is perfectly fine. It's realistic and makes sense. However, in reality it's not perfect. It still needs quite a lot of balancing and fixing. The game also isn't as linear as it seems. The door checkpoint system makes it seem very linear, but between those two doors you can play it however you want. There are some very Splinter Cell: Conviction-y levels tossed in near the end, but Contracts makes up for that.

The disguise system isn't that big of a deal, like I said in the Hitman thread, if you put in the old disguise system then the game becomes ridiculously easy though there are problems with the system I would like fixed, Terminus hotel is extremely easy on purist if you know what your doing. Though I just hope for the next games it goes back to being a hitman and going across the world in different locations to take out your target instead of this.

Im actually glad this game is styled like this, if they kept pumping out Blood Money's, eventually it would get stale, you need to have something to shake it up every once in awhile.
