If some guy robbed you, during police questioning would you be like "yeah I mean he's not convicted yet, and I don't want to jump to conclusions about whether he really robbed me or not, but he did take my wallet and keys while threatening - not assuming any guilt, though!".

That shit is a [I]judicial[/I] concept - real life doesn't need to adhere to that principle. We shouldn't jump to conclusions, but I'm really tired of seeing this cropping up every time there's anything about assuming guilt.
