Everyone has forgotten about some certain Ed boys. Ed, Edd n' Eddy was always my favourite. I've never actually appreciated the humour of it until recently because I honestly didn't catch on too much, I only ever really laughed at Ed. But now, all three are hilarious.
No love for sheep in the big city? :(
Oh fuck, Robot Jones! Goddamn I loved that show.
I hate how Courage the Cowardly Dog only got two seasons. I loved that show.
Cartoon Network was on for two years before my birth. Now I'm sad and feel old.

IMO Nickleodean had the better cartoons when I was growing up sans a select few (like Angry Beavers), and stuff like Toonami. A lot of show CN had just didn't resonate with me at all. I'm in the minority here, but stuff like Ed, Edd, and Eddy was the kind of stuff that really kept me away from CN, and a good chunk of thier programming was stuff like that. Meanwhile nickleodean had some awesome shows like Rocket Power, Fairly Odd Parents, (early) Spongebob, Hey Arnold!, etc. That said CN still had some really awesome stuff like Courage and Angry Beavers. And their other shows were still rather good, even if I didn't really care for them as a kid (like Ed edd and eddy, samurai jack, powerpuff girls, etc). Then CN really got to shit mid-decade. The era of good 90's/early2000's cartoons ended there. Nickelodean still had good stuff going, but eventually they just went hardcore into stuff like Spongebob and nothing else. Now, it's not so bad. While the classics are long gone, CN is starting to show stuff that is actually really damn good on their own terms, that can be liked by kids and adults alike. Regular show, adventure time are both HUGE with both kids and adults, and they are really good shows. MLP is bigger than powerpuff girls and managed to find an audience with autistic males as well. Foster's Home was great too, though they don't show that anymore (I like to think that is was started the current "good cartoons revolution"). Then there is gumball and some other shows I'm forgetting about. Meanwhile, nickelodean basically still has nothing going for them (which sucks, because when I was a kid they had the better stuff IMO). But at least CN managed to become good again, and they've gotten even huger than before because of it. I really feel like as of late they've really understood their audience and really managed to nail some cartoonist talent out there.
Not enough Courage love. Would not watch again.
Courage was one of my favorite cartoons to have ever appeared on that channel. I own th box set somewhere, don't remember where, though.
Last image makes a good desktop background. [img_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/Background.bmp[/img_thumb]
I am drowning in nostalgia oh god. I forgot CN even aired Teen Titans.
I am drowning in nostalgia oh god. I forgot CN even aired Teen Titans.
That reminds me. I used to sing the Teen Titans theme song with my friends back in 4th grade. All the upper class kids were looking at us like we were stupid. Good times.
Seeing them use the old Cartoon Network logo made me feel fuzzy, seeing this brings me back a long way.
They sometimes incorporate their old logo into the commercials today. They make the old logo transform into the new one.
As much as I like that show, Adventure Time has no business being featured. It's got a long way to go before I consider it in the same league as the classic cartoons. So does Regular Show. And I sure as HELL know that Ben 10 has no business being anywhere near that.
It's 20 years of history not the 20 years of history including only the shows I like
Oh shit, I just remembered the time they made that Half Life joke in Camp Lazlo. The one about Lazlo naming that leech on his head Lamarr.

Watching that show was like stop it eyes
Ed, Edd n Eddy was one of the most entertaining shows as a kid. I lived in a neighborhood where the kids roamed free just like it so it was really fun to watch.

That show was legendary for me at least.
When I saw robot jones in there I was like "They do remember" Bring out a fucking DVD CN [editline]2nd October 2012[/editline] Powerpuff girls, Ed edd and eddy, johnny bravo, courage the cowardly dog, i am weezal, cow and chicken, robot jones, Samurai Jack, even fucking Fosters along with Adult Swim and Aqua Teen Hunger Force made my childhood (yes I started watching Adult Swim in grade 2) I still love watching Chowder and Adventure time but they really need to either bring back the classics and keep their style or make something original like adventure time
I don't get why they don't do more cartoon cartoon contests. I really loved seeing all those random shows even if I got sad when one I liked didn't get picked up. Sheep In The Big City and Billy & Mandy were both picked up because of it if I recall correctly. Courage was, and still is, the best cartoon on the planet.
-NEVERMIND-

You guys are nostalgia whores. Adventure Time is in the same league as the classics, imo.
Samurai Jack doesn't give a fuck about anything, he just wants to get back, back to the past.
Hold on, Jack. [editline]2nd October 2012[/editline]
No Chowder or Johnny Test? :c
Johnny Test is CW international show, it's just rebroadcast on CN. Chowder and Schnitzel were there.
