So many of these accidents could have been avoided if people weren't stupid fucks. Like that guy at 0:54 not slowing down and then suddenly pulling out and not checking his mirror and causing that overtaking guy to wipeout (the overtaking guy was a fucking idiot too though). And then all the traffic light crashes cause idiots pulling across a main lane don't do it slowly and check for oncoming cars. I'm always hyper vigilant when I'm driving cause I'd hate having to get insurance involved for such a dumb crash and then having to pay higher for my premiums.
I'm pretty sure they were both at fault. The guy driving from the camera's perspective simply shouldn't have been going so fast so close to the guy infront. The guy coming from behind appeared to be doing the same
The POV car is the driver who will be ruled 'innocent', they're both at fault but the asshole behind was being an inconsiderate fuck trying to jump 2 cars ahead at a turn and if they were not there no accident would have taken place. POV car was guilty of not paying attention / miss judging whats going on in front but pulling to the right and being hit from behind absolves them of blame. The only caveat to that is wither or not the POV car was breaking the speed limit in which case the law would find both guilty as sin. source, had a case like this at work a few years ago and that's how it was dealt with regardless of the rear car indicating, it's not so much the move itself, it's where it's taking place.
The car wasn't hit from behind, though. He slammed into the side of the guy who was overtaking. If he got off innocent and the other guy got hit with the book, that'd be ridiculous. They should both get in trouble. POV car for negligence and unsafe driving, and overtaking car for dangerous overtaking.

Why do you guys have some zig zag lines on your roads? Always been interested
Why do you guys have some zig zag lines on your roads? Always been interested
It means that there's a pedestrian crossing close by & is illegal to park there
The amount of people who try to overtake someone by going into the "BIKE ONLY" lane deserve to die.
Why do you guys have some zig zag lines on your roads? Always been interested
If double yellow lines are "do not park here", zigzag lines are like "really REALLY do not park here" For good reason, too. If you park there, traffic coming in the same direction cannot see pedestrians on the crossing who may walk across while you're trying to overtake said stupidly parked car
I'm loving that "SHITTING PEUGOT" gag this guy has got going on in a few videos since it actually happened in one of the earlier ones, in this video it's at 3:08
They're back making them again, also quite surreal seeing a local place at 2:07, its amazing how many people do the same shit that driver did at those lights.
Stuff like this is why I wanted to get into vehicle body repair, endless work because people are idiots
Qualifications required? That sounds nice tbh.
Some of those accidents looked really bad. That one where the car literally grinds along the crash barrier rail and hits into a lamppost, then falls into a drop somewhere.
go anywhere at rush hour and there will always be bellends like these, risking everyone else on the road so they can get home 5 mins early. It's the only time I see people doing 60-70 in a 40 when its dark and they have their lights off. Unbelievable twattery. Also: Notice the abundance of vans. Tradesmen seem to be the worst drivers on the road. Forget BMW's and 4x4's.
I was on lesson the other week and some moron in a crappy old golf starts speeding past me to overtake; right near a bunch of pedestrian crossings, through a bus lane and when im the most blatant learner car i've seen on the road. Wanker ended up taking his turn after me anyways cause he didnt get in the right lane. [editline]28th August 2016[/editline] How so many people cant get the basic idea of a junction down is fucking beyond me.
While I was in Northumbria, the number of people who would try and overtake a traffic jam on the A1 which went on for miles was absolutely incredible.
I don't know what's best, the Russian videos with the "SUUUUUKA BLYAAATT!!!" screaming, or the English cursing. "Fuck my arse!!!" had me in stitches :v:
It just so happens there's a crosswalk on it. You usually get these traffic islands in pairs, usually in residential areas. One direction has priority over the other direction, it's to make people slow down. Funny story, one of my sister's friends once did exactly like in the video, because there was a cycle path through it (which is less than half the width of a car) and she thought it was just a narrowed bit of road. Here's one: She drove through the bit on the left meant for bikes.
this is so horrible in terms of traffic engineering i can't even believe it exists. there are so many ways to achieve this that don't involve such a hazard, like speed tables then again, planning departments are totally cool with designing highway interchanges like this, so i guess they don't really care
