if what i wrote right below that holds true its an annoyance
if we can't talk about the lootboxes can we talk about how WB made a DLC for an employee that died during development and isn't even donating all the proceeds from the sales to the family?
What? The first major season pass was from Rockstar back when they did the Rockstar Pass for L.A Noire. And that was just an expansion on the idea of EA's project ten dollar from the year before. WB isn't great, but the majority of your list is exaggerated at best.
WB was the first to call it a season pass and to include it in nearly all of their subsequent releases. It worked out so well for MK9 that it practically became a AAA standard. Also MK9 was released a month prior to LA Noire. And do explain how the list is exaggerated because I can point out at least one game for each of these points. [editline]2nd September 2017[/editline]
Remind me again why Denuvo is bad? Last i remember it was because of people claiming SSDs being killed and performance reductions, was this ever proven?
Denuvo is a harbinger of bad publicity in of itself. The performance hits were never proven to be legitimately caused by Denuvo itself, but that doesn't matter as much as the fact the entire solution became synonymous with terrible releases and bad pc ports. Some of the earlier releases using the program (Lords of the Fallen, Arkham Knight and Just Cause 3) were notoriously hard to run or unstable, Arkham Knight being possibly the most infamous example. You also cannot mod games with Denuvo, since it's anti-tamper it will not allow you to alter the way the game runs in a long list of ways and may sometimes give false alarms which can delete some of your progress depending on how far you are from your last save point.
thread backfired on OP
