If that's real, I can see it being a problem if you have to get your kid out of a bed in a hurry like in a fire or tornado.
that and when he becomes a teen/adult your kid will probably hate you
Holy shit you could actually get uranium like THAT?
why in gods name did that fingerprint ink use asbestos? what fingerprint ink in the world needs asbestos?
To make it fireproof, duh.
After watching spider man I deliberately tried to get spiders to bite me. I wonder how many other children succeeded.
I need a metal pokemon card please
I honestly don't get why those ovens were recalled, it said all over it: Do not use without adult supervision, and they came with a spatula thingy to push stuff in and out with, if a kid actually put their hand in it, it's the fault of the parent for not stopping them or pulling the plug.
I can distinctly remember we bought one second hand back when I was a kid and I almost got my hand stuck. There's a spring loaded metal door (stamped sheet metal no less) on both sides that if you were not careful you could put your fingers through but you couldn't pull out. I think I even complained that this felt unsafe. We threw it out and bought another one where the front slid open and I could cook hotdogs in it.

i think its not just because of the fact that you can burn yourself but also because you can get your hand stuck in the part that actually burns you
Wow, kids are fucking stupid
HEY GUYS I HAD THAT METAL POKEMON CARD WITH THE PLASTIC POKEBALL CAN I JOIN THE COOL KID CLUB
I still have the black-light that came from the CSI kit.
I can't remember if I bothered with the asbestos fingerprint stuff though.
I have two of those toys in the video, all the BK Pokemons, and a few Dragon Flyz. Didn't see anything dangerous with them.
I kinda want that atomic lab now
Yeah Fallout instantly jumped to mind. But it has to be fake, there's no way someone sold fucking radioactive fuel this freely.
Nope, not at all!
My dad used to be able to order Cesium samples as a high school Chemistry/Physics professor.
U283 Isn't really dangerous compared to it's other isotopes, and isn't fuel for anything but a single experimental reactor (it's depleted uranium).
Still probably not a good idea for a kids toy.
Still makes me wish that they had that atomic energy kit when I was a kid. Looked like it would have been a good father son project.

An atomic energy kit? That would be dangerous. A nuclear reaction without literal tons of shielding would fuck you over with neutron flux in seconds.
What are you guys going to do with uranium
Never really understood the difference in those elements and stuff... not my strong suit at all. But still "isn't dangerous compared to other isotopes" surely doesn't mean it isn't dangerous if you eat it or something, no?
It means that uranium 235 (what you need enough of for nuclear fuel, and more for bombs) produces the same kind and slightly higher energy of radiation that U238 (the vast majority of un-enriched or depleted uranium samples) does, but at 6.5 times the rate, 4.3/4.7 MeV alpha particles.
High concentrations of U235 in a sample of uranium (up to 20%) is nuclear fuel. Greater concentrations still are weapons grade.
And yes, more pressingly uranium is poisonous, and also it's pyrophoric, so if it becomes a dust it's a real fire hazard.

Make bombs.
What are you guys going to do with uranium
It's actually really good radiation shielding, better than lead, as well as being good for armour.
