it took me and my friend about 30 minutes to get to this point of the game it's taken him like what, 2 years?
I bet the next one will be in BMS.
Ross DID say he was considering switching over to Black Mesa if it came out before he was done, which it looks like it is! That would cut down on his work load a little, I guess.
He said on his website that he thinks the transition would be too unwieldy, he would have if BM came out before Freeman was knocked out, but he's past that point, and plus it'd become more awkward if he reached Xen before that part of BM came out.
And in case you missed the post before this, I will not be switching to the Black Mesa mod for Freeman’s Mind.

Since it may be relevant.
Ok so from this we can conclude is that Freeman's Mind takes ages to make because his sound editor is a lazy fuck?
it took me and my friend about 30 minutes to get to this point of the game it's taken him like what, 2 years?
Check the image posted. Actually playing is like 1% of the work, as with most machinima projects.
It's primarily the sound editors issue, and the fact that he doesn't work on a schedule.
I wasted 5 minutes of my time watching this before I had to turn it off. I didn't even smile. I never understood why people like this.
I wasted 5 minutes of my time watching this before I had to turn it off. I didn't even smile. I never understood why people like this.
To be entirely honest, the jokes got a bit weaker but I watch this to see him handle strange, cool or iconic scenes from HL.
I think switching over to Black Mesa would be a bad idea anyway. It would really disrupt the flow, plus it's much easier to make fun of the original game.
http://www.accursedfarms.com/black-mesa-mod/ He planned on switching when Gordon gets knocked out by the marines but he passed that point. Plus the graphical difference he thinks would be disruptive. Also he plans on dedicating November to just working on FM
Holy shit it's been so fucking long since i stopped watching this. I gotta rewatch all these.
you aren't telling the truth the tram ride alone is 30 minutes :v:
I'm pretty sure he was exaggerating to get his point across. And even if he was being serious how do you know how he plays?
This did not show up on my subscription feed because series subscriptions have ceased to work and I don't want to subscribe to the entire machinima page just to see this one guy, plus two best friends play episodes. Also I can guess why it takes so long to the guy to do this since it's pretty much a very scripted playthrough that requires a lot of thought, playtime and voice acting, but you'd think it would take a bit less than several months to get one episode done, especially when people like Two Best Friends Play can crap out one every two or three weeks.
Here That's a link to the series page within Machinima, you can subscribe to just the series without subscribing to all of Machinima with that. Anyone who finds this useful, you're welcome.
I'm pretty sure he was exaggerating to get his point across. And even if he was being serious how do you know how he plays?
I wasn't joking, it takes us around 30~ minutes give or take 10 to reach that point in the game (not including the tram ride because that's like 2~ hours added)
Always loved this guy's videos. Wish he had more time to do them however.
it took me and my friend about 30 minutes to get to this point of the game it's taken him like what, 2 years?
Hhahahahahhaa unless you are this guy then shut up, you did not get there by 30 minutes, thats hours into the game.
He keeps focusing on other useless things like video formats and stuff. I mean 95% of the fans doesnt care about that, they just want a new video. Also he keeps moving a lot. Like every 3 months he moves to another place. Then he keeps doing other hard stuff like new civil protection and these mystery videos. He needs to stop doing all this and focus on freeman's mind until he at least finishes hl1

(May be useful to note we don't play Black Mesa Inbound and we fly through Unforseen Consequences because really the game starts to get great at Office Complex, and we use the exploit to bypass We've Got Hostiles because why not) [editline]11th September 2012[/editline] and that's only if we're like actually trying to speedrun through, because yeah that would be insane for someone on a casual playthrough

It would be perfect if the last episode came out dec 3, the same day the first episode came out 5 years ago. But ehh, doubt it.
