Like how, within 12 hours of the rule change, an artist who made I think about $5k/mo off doing 3d animations of consensual bestiality got taken down. However, Animopron, who makes about $15k/mo and is probably [b]the[/b] best-known 3d bestiality animator in the scene (and occasionally with rape undertones), just chugs happily along without any repercussions whatsoever. There are other examples where less-known artists have been get hit for making the same type of content as larger-known artists who chug on their merry way. There's been speculation of Patreon taking bribes to keep those pages unmolested. It's all just speculation, but it's also not that hard to believe - I personally know people who used to bribe Tumblr moderators to keep their blogs up despite them blatantly violating Tumblr's community guidelines.

They paid the bribe at a loss. The blog itself was an aggregate for content that violated Tumblr's rules - artists would submit to the blog-owner, who would host the content on the blog and advertise for the artists. They did it solely out of charity work, because they personally felt that it was bullshit that Tumblr was taking down these blogs, when it's all fantasy / fiction work. And if I recall correctly, it was actually the moderator who reached out to them. They had already had, like, 3 versions of the blog be deleted, but they just kept remaking it and rehosting the artists' content. From what I recall, the moderator reached out to them and was like "So I see you keep remaking this blog; if you want, you can pay me [I think it was about] $200/mo, and I'll remove any flags other moderators put on your blog." And they actually did it. If I recall correctly, they ended up paying that moderator ([b]not[/b] Tumblr as a whole, but that moderator in specific) over $2000 to keep that blog running, all the while never making a penny off it or from the artists they hosted. They had to finally shut it down because of their health and medical bills, though. And while they never confirmed it, they also speculated that particular moderator was extorting at least a half-dozen other blog-owners in the same way.
