Some of my favorite motions are in Honeybee

Oh man, speaking of Honeybee, they recently posted a video of a newer, live performance version of it

it's absolutely amazing and it really shows of Rabbit/Bunny's vocal talent
Why not just listen to the music and ignore the videos?
i tried, it's a hard thing to separate.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: the only thing stopping me from liking this band is their shit gimmick.
What's the problem with them looking and acting like robots? If it wasn't relevant to anything they did i could kinda understand it, but it's the theme of he band; some of their songs and lots of the things they do are built around that idea. They are all really great musicians and that they can keep up the robot theme with all the movements and other things while playing songs shows even more talent. It gives them something to do with all the training & classes they had, as well.
I still miss The Jon. Hatchworth just doesn't seem to fit with the band like he did imo.

Is it? don't you just not look at the video?
I don't like the background that they use.
there's a difference between personality and gimmick, you're describing their personality foo, meanwhile we're talking about their gimmicky persona.
Lots of bands and musicians have visual elements to their music, it's to build an atmosphere and make performances of it more interesting and special.
it makes me feel so uncomfortable
I think i just got addicted with SPG. It´s really good honestly.
I'm a bit surprised so many people are rating this badly. The last Steam Powered Giraffe song that was posted here seemed fairly well likely. The video for this isn't the best but that doesn't mean the cover is bad or they don't have any talent.
what's up with Bunny Bennett wearing chick clothes.
Is he a crossdresser, and if so why does he still make a deep manly voice while appearing feminine?
I still miss The Jon. Hatchworth just doesn't seem to fit with the band like he did imo.
The Jon had a much better vocal range imo, but he wasn't as fully immersed in the theme as the other members, which is a pretty big deal

I don't see why you guys seem to have such a problem that i don't enjoy this band's visual element.

She's transgender

Bunny is transgender so Rabbit was changed to a female robot. I'm not sure about the voice but that's probably because changing it would mean it wouldn't fit in with their current songs, and that's how shes used to/best at singing.
Yeah, doing voice therapy could change her singing voice in unpredictable ways and drastically change the act.
Not really my taste but damn these guys are pretty talented and elaborate
Wikipedia says there are four members. But I keep seeing the same three people. Am I missing something here?
Great band regardless. Have a few of their songs on Spotify.
Edit:
Oh they consider their sound engineer a part of the band too.
Thanks for introducing me to this band. It's pretty awesome.

And addition to being the sound engineer, he's always part of the live act, they'll sometimes talk to him and he opens up the show.
