This film looks incredible and I've watched the trailer like 8 times now. But did she really need a spyglass to find out that it was approaching lmfao
the magic of editing a trailer. also it's probably to decipher which city it was.
This film looks incredible and I've watched the trailer like 8 times now. But did she really need a spyglass to find out that it was approaching lmfao
Because it was a scifi prop I just kind of assumed it was the kind of spyglass you would use even if you didn't need to. So to me the shot was more like, "Oh shit I didn't expect something to approach so quick/be so big that I couldn't use this! Woah!" edit: On second watch, she very clearly sees it before using the spyglass at all. I still feel like they had her use it just for the effect of making the city feel 'too big for optics' but yea it's super silly how she's like "oh a massive massive structure is gaining speed on us, better zoom way the fuck in. And then is immediately like, oh wait nevermind I can see it now.
Perhaps she was looking for "London" written somewhere in git big letters.
Why is the way bigger London faster? You'd think the smaller city would have a maneuverability and speed advantage over london.
Why is the way bigger London faster? Consider the amount of energy something that big can contain.
Why is the way bigger London faster? You'd think the smaller city would have a maneuverability and speed advantage over london.
Bigger cities cannibalize parts off whatever they eat, so it probably has many mobility parts from numerous small cities.
Little city has to dodge ridges and obstacles, London just goes straight over them.
Can I just reiterate how fucking balls to the walls sick this film looks?
Why is the way bigger London faster? Monty Python already did it
Why is the way bigger London faster? You'd think the smaller city would have a maneuverability and speed advantage over london.
tbh this rates pretty low on my "that's some weird shit" scale here
