Not gonna lie, I think this will help Trump more than it will Clinton, she was on the defence for quite a bit of this

Ah what a shame.
Well, that's just Trump. That said, I think he accomplished what he needed to accomplish. He managed to divert attention away from his own failings, his own character, and keep Clinton on the defensive for the vast majority of the debate. While I don't know that I'd say he won, he certainly didn't tank it (at least not compared to his first debate).
Gotta give credit where credits due. He's still Trump, and always will be, but did pretty good this time around. He manage to compose himself for most of it and not act like he did during the primaries and the first debate. I think he learned his lesson from last time. Not saying he was giving good answers, but he looked better.
I was honestly really offended by how Clinton answered the last question, as I let the whole thing sink in. She spins something that was supposed to be positive into talking about herself. Really left a bad taste in my mouth. While I think Clinton won the first debate by a landslide, this debate was a tie for me. But her last comment sways my opinion toward trump winning by an inch.
I don't know how any of you guys can watch this debate and say that X won.
It's simple really, Trump spent a lot of time literally talking nonsense, he broke rules, he got in fights with moderator, he answered questions by attacking his opponent on unrelated issues. Hillary just gave a standard, policy talk with a bit of self defence.
Why don't we have a poll running in this thread?
CBS is reporting that the Pence team is nuclear with anger toward Trump currently

Can you blame her for not having an once of respect or nice thing to say about Trump, cause I fucking dont.

I feel as though that's just par for the course. I didn't really find it offensive; it's nearly what you're expected to do in that position.
If anything, I'd say Trump eked out the win. That initial spat was terribly ugly, and Trump got some powerful one-liners in. Hillary got really defensive and repetitive, it didn't look good opening each statement with "Everything he just said isn't true".
Towards the end there Trump started to talk nonsense, but he wasn't turning into a sputtering idiot like he did with the last debate, so people who aren't as aware of the politics of it all won't catch how crazy some of the stuff Trump said was. Combine all that with him ending on a very high note compared to Clinton.
Seems like that debate prep actually helped.
how is saying shit like how we need to have a nuclear arms race, clean coal, rambling about bill for no fucking reason, completely dodging the judge question to talk again about stupid bullshit, or having a literal temper tantrum on stage "winning".
I'm kinda sad after that- both because it was a shitshow, but also because it wasn't enough of a shitshow to make me feel relaxed like last time. With how many people think Trump won after tonight (and how much better he did overall), I'm gonna stay nervous until I see the polls later this week.
Also, anyone who thinks that Pence has a chance of dropping out, as well as Trump, are unfortunately too late- people have already written in their ballots, and Trump will never back down until the end. Best to hope Clinton keeps up the momentum instead, which is much more likely.
That actually makes me very afraid. His polls are close and there's a lot at risk for me and millions of other people like me if he wins the election
I've said it before, but I know people (Asians, blacks, hispanics) who are arming themselves in case of a Trump presidency. Not for a revolution, but to set up militias in case the racist people in Trump's camp decide to use his win as justification and validation for their beliefs.

Is there meant to be an "undecided" option there?
Can you blame her for not having an once of respect or nice thing to say about Trump, cause I fucking dont.
It was very selfish on her part regardless. She said nice things about his kids but went on about herself for the second half.
Link?
They said it on the TV so I'm not sure if I can find the link, I'll look for it though
Christ, seriously?!?
22 people aren't representable of the nation lol.
when the poll goes up in this thread on who won, I hope there's a "neither won but everyone else lost" option

i'd give them a hand in their defense
Also I really hope media will go back to his statements about "appointing a judge to jail Clinton", because
Is there meant to be an "undecided" option there?
It's for who you're willing to vote for, not who you're going to. So if they're undecided they could be willing to vote for both or neither.
Can you blame her for not having an once of respect or nice thing to say about Trump, cause I fucking dont.
I think everyone has at least one redeemable quality in them, even the worst of us. Giving someone credit or paying a compliment doesn't mean you like them.
22 people aren't representable of the nation lol.
Well, yeah, obviously, but it's still concerning that some people were compelled towards Trump even after these last few days just because of this one debate.

Is this even a reliable poll?
Who is this guy?
Also I really hope media will go back to his statements about "appointing a judge to jail Clinton", because
He said he's appoint a special prosecutor to look into the case, not to jail Clinton. However, if Trump was in charge of the law--which the President is not--he said that Hillary would be in jail. There's a difference there. I do think this statement will hurt Donald a little if it gets dwelled upon.
I mean Trumps final comment was nice but he literally just said the exact opposite of that during the debate.
It's simple really, Trump spent a lot of time literally talking nonsense, he broke rules, he got in fights with moderator, he answered questions by attacking his opponent on unrelated issues. Hillary just gave a standard, policy talk with a bit of self defence.
I mean even with all. Nothing in this debate, or the last one, made me want either of two to become president. In fact all it did is make me hate them both more. The whole two party system is a sham. Gary johnson is on all 50 state ballots and yet he isn't in this debate. It's unfair.
