The first 30 minutes of the debate and the final question were complete gold.
Trump faltered a lot in the middle and kept interrupting Clinton and the mods throughout the debate but holy hell he had great zingers

I threw my hat at the screen what he pulled that
Donald Trump has released this statement reflecting on his performance in the debate
I tried so hard and got so far
But in the end, it doesn't even matter
I had to fall to lose it all
But in the end it doesn't even matter

Where can one acquire a working k98? It's rifle I've been wanting to buy for the longest time.
just grab one through the gun show loophole
I hope they add a timer to the overlay for the third debate and make sure it shows how long either of them goes over the limit.
RIPBILLYMAYS!!!
Do tell me how you feel about Trump's support for mythical clean coal. Afterall, you are a nuclear physics student.
I threw my hat at the screen what he pulled that
i hope it was a MAGA hat
The whole energy segment I was on the edge of my seat waiting for one of them to mention nuclear and win the ripbillymays demographic, but I don't think either of them did?

I'm sure that now that daddy has pronounced his allegiance to coal and gas, leaving behind billymays' self professed most important issue, his support will be shaken and he might be brought into a more neutral stahahahahahahaha

I was pissed that neither candidate brought up nuclear power. All he said was that "nuclear" (almost certainly referring to weapons) in the USA was poor and behind Russia who is innovating. [del]Russia[/del] The whole world is doing more on the nuclear energy side that we are anyway, as far as I know.

Damn right it was, I was fucking elated

Well, actually, only Iran made any developments. And they were only really trying to catch up with rest of the world.
Anti-nuclear energy scare is much stronger outside US.

Should have thrown it in the garbage instead tbh
He got some sick zingers in but ultimately he wasn't Presidential which is what he needed to be, he doesn't need to appeal more to the likes of voters like /pol/ than he already is.
I think this debate he basically succeeded and rolling to stabilize but his negative HP is pretty close to his Con score :v:
imo to me he tried too hard to be "presidential." From literally awkward standing around looking like a doofus, to standing when hillary had already sat. it was cheap rheotoric and everything else as well. he looked like he was pandering to me, and when he wasn't he looked like he was sad 60% of the time.
From literally awkward standing around looking like a doofus, to standing when hillary had already sat.
Did he think that he'd look more energetic?
All he did was stand like a goon, walk around aimlessly and hump his chair.

I agree with this. He toned himself down a lot during this debate and didn't interrupt as much (ex. WRONG) and he looked uncomfortable. After the GOP fiasco in the last few days and Grab her right in the Pussy, I think he's better off being himself. We know how he behaves, how he thinks, how he speaks, ect. Even if its not great, he looks better being himself than forcing himself to hold back to appear more presidential.
Its funny because I was calling the exact opposite after the last debate. He just needs to keep hitting hard at the debates. Even if he loses it, its more fun watching him bring down the house.

hillary moved around a lot more fluidly than he did
Damn right it was, I was fucking elated
I'm still trying to wrap my head around how he pulled a rap battle clap back that eludes to to dictatorship style imprisonment of political dissentors
like this HAS to be just surface level reading and I'm missing context right

Probably thought he would look better standing up while Clinton would be sitting but yeah it made him look off put

I agree with this completely, but I thought the perception would be 'wow he talked about policy, and he didn't melt down like last time - I give him a 10/10'
the way he threatened hillary with prosecution was kind of strange and dark
I agree with this completely, but I thought the perception would be 'wow he talked about policy, and he didn't melt down like last time - I give him a 10/10'
If he bounces back it won't be because of his policies. People like Trump because he's got great bantz and calls out bullshit on both sides. People liked Trump tonight not as a better person or candidate, but because he ruthlessly went after Clinton and got her visibly riled.
hillary moved around a lot more fluidly than he did
If anyone did seem presidential hillary did. She both moved around and used her hand gestures while talking about others concerns. she didn't interrupt and she seemed calm and collected the entire time while he seemed like an angry vegetable.
*humps a chair*
I'll just say what I said in the Discord.
Trump moved around the stage like "Tree #3" at a grade-school play
the way he threatened hillary with prosecution was kind of strange and dark
yeah, it's pretty alarming that people think that was a Sick Zinger
the way he threatened hillary with prosecution was kind of strange and dark
I think it sets a bad precedent for the way we conduct elections.
That said, it looks like it was a hit with the crowd who were fed up with Clinton's & associates' scandals and corruption.
how could anyone have responded to his torrential vomit of accusations
it was pure blather. He wandered brainlessly from personal jabs to intricate conspiracy theory and everything in between. He didn't stay on topic, he didn't answer questions, and he lied fucking constantly.
He argued with his own fucking running mate. This fucking clown can't even keep track of what his vice president is saying. I have run out of synonyms for incompetent to describe this fucko with. May god have fucking mercy on us all.
Your spot on about eveeything but the VP part. Clinton/Kaine and Johnson/Weld have both stated they have some different views on subjects. Why is this a con for Trump/Pence?

To me he moved like a generic gangster henchmen.
fuck i accidentally voted trump on the poll
Walking around made him look distressed and inexperienced. Body language is the first thing any speech instructor is going to call you out you on - textbook public speaking. Movement without purpose is incredibly distracting.

The difference is they have different opinions, but with trump and pence it's like they tried to tack on someone who was more moderate to balance trumpism.
