Other big theory I've hard is Heimdall's eyeballs.
My big theory is that the fireball seen over New York in the beginning of the trailer is the Hulk falling to earth.
It's possible that it's in Wakanda under where the heart-shaped herbs grow, that's why he's attacking there.
Oh man oh man they better not fuck this up.
Thanos better kill everyone by at least the end of Part 2.
At least he doesn't look as pink in this trailer
Too bad we don't have a scared rainbow smiley for cautiously optimistic.
I hope this film isn't just "shoehorn another person in for the fans" and actually has a good story. I typically steer away from superhero films and the like, but I certainly enjoyed the original Avengers and would be down for something with a 'similar' tone.
Marvel movies seriously need a break after the Infinity plot device saga but knowing disney they're gonna run into maximum overdrive and burn even more
It's pretty amazing how it's been 10 years since Robert Downey Jr and John Favreau through together a movie with little script and knowledge of where it would go and this is the path we've gone down.
Keep in mind, this, and Avengers 4 will likely be one of the last outings for some of the original actors in their roles.
At the moment, I'm thinking the Soul Stone will either be a twist or may have something to do with Adam Warlock in GotG 3 or Captain Marvel. I don't believe Heimdall has anything to do with the Stone because of the "it is not wise to keep two Infinity Stones... something something" from the Thor The Dark World after credits scene. "He may not know himself" I hear some proponent of the Heimdall theory say; but Odin certainly would have.
Based on some Marvel fanboy pages on instagram, the Russo brothers have stated that Thanos is attacking Wakanda because Captain America has the idea to hide Vision within the city.
Adam Warlock has been confirmed to not be in either Infinity War or Avengers 4 IIRC.
And as far as the "It's not wise to keep two infinity stones on the same planet" rule, Earth has been breaking that rule the whole darn series.
Wouldn't the Fox deal give the full rights for Adam Warlock? I thought he was lumped in with the X-Men.
Captain Marvel it is then.
Earth hasn't really been aware of Cosmic affairs unlike the Asgardians, though.
Adam is apparently gonna be last villain for the old crew (gotg)and then leader of the new crew (gotg).
So how many of these cool characters will have less that 5 lines of written dialogue? Besides Groot.
Yes, but Odin at the time was actually Loki, who may not have known.
Is the movie still put into two parts, or did they decide to just smush it into one? I hope it's the former.
It's broken into "Avengers Infinity War" and "Avengers 4", an otherwise un-named sequel.
fucking sick. So hyped after how good blank panther was
Makes sense.
To me, Thanos just has a kinda "human what the fuck is your endgame with this".
Cap better get launched into the stratosphere at the end of that little bit.
Didn't even realize it's out in a month and a bit from now, stoked.
As big a clusterfuck as this may or may not turn into, I'm beyond hyped for this.
Seeing Starlord and Iron Man in the same frame gave me chills.
I don't think this is gonna be a complete clusterfuck, even though it might look like it. We have to remember that the movie doesn't need to spend time on background stories for all the big characters, because of all the previous movies leading up to this.
I dunno about you, but I get the feeling one of the things Thanos will do early in the film is massacre the Asgardian ship. I feel like those scenes with Thor held captive and Loki offering up the Tesseract are aboard the ship and obviously you can see things they didn't exactly all have a party together. Additionally, Loki may be killed as well as he tries to bargain the Tesseract for his life (or perhaps any surviving Asgardians or Thor- a dramatic irony that his first selfless act gets him killed through deception) because he lost TWO Infinity Stones during the Battle of New York. What I'm trying to say is, I'm thinking Heimdall will die (and will have nothing to do with the Stone). But, alas, only time will tell. I just don't think the "Heimdall theory" has had much going for it.
So, I might just be blind, but is there a reason they include Wong but not Hawkeye? Or am I missing him?
To be fair, Hawkeye wanted out in Age of Ultron, so maybe he’s not a large part of this battle, focusing on keeping his family safe instead.
Or maybe there's too many characters and they forgot.
I'm wondering how much screen time all of them can actually get, feels like it would need to be a miniseries.
Speaking of missing Avengers, where's Antman, is he seen in any of the trailers?
Don't think he plays a big part in this one, as they were filming Antman and the Wasp around the same time. I believe there's set photos for the followup with him though.
