I have no idea how many coins I got, but I do know I wasted them all getting my avatar to 68 x 68.

If I knew there were going to be backgrounds, I'd have saved them ;_;

But coins are extremely easy to get

They're easy to get when you don't care about getting them, but they get progressively harder if you do.
Like, you'll earn about 3-4 coins a day purely through browsing threads and rating posts, however if you really try to engage, posting replies in tons of threads, receiving lots of ratings and giving lots of ratings, I found it was only possible to earn 5-6 coins.

I think it's good that they get progressively harder to earn, but it seems to ramp up a bit too fast

I tried to properly grind coins, at the start of the day, every time I checked my coins they had gone up by about 25%, however by the time I was on my 6th coin it only seemed to be going up by 3% each
