self contained is one thing, which would be fine, but fetishists can never self regular or contain themselves. it starts with a Furry thread and ends up with a gang of posters with furry babies in diapers suggestively sucking on bottles or something on their profile all over the forum

have the current NSFW threads devolved into that? As far as I'm aware they haven't. The only one to ever be a problem was WTYO and it was nixed, and hasn't come back. Since then there haven't been any issues.

it has literally nothing to do with morals? i love porn. it's great. but i don't need porn integrated into every facet of my life and it doesn't need to be on this website because there are hundreds of thousands of other porn websites totally dedicated to it! if people HAVE to have specific nsfw threads, i disagree they need to be here, but fine. but everyone who has suggestive profile backgrounds or avatars or start posting weird shit out side of their threads can be catapulted into the sun

I don't think sharing weird fetish images on a public forum is good, I'm 100% not against having it but just toss in another subsection away from one that's actually used a lot.

For icons and background images I think we should allow softcore stuff (like suggestive and sexy, but fully clothed or something along the lines like @Reagy 's Background Icon) but no nudity or sex

it's a figure of speech. Any thread requires active moderation and as a former moderator I think you'd be glad that users were going out of their way to self-moderate and report any instances that should be banned. You're complaining that the threads will always devolve into the same shit when you're actively being disproven
I mean I'd agree with you it's my fault for accessing the thread if there were things in place to avoid it. It's currently one of the highest threads in Fast Threads and there's no way to easily blacklist it. You can hardly say "oh you accidentally misclicked your mouse pad? Here's 20 images of gay furry porn"
yeah let's pretend all that stuff is the same as porn. like, i walk into my office at work and talk about politics and movies, then i get out my cool drawings of naked animes to show everyone. its all the same thing!
