The problem with getting the car fixed is that we have a $1000 deductible. Which we don't have. Also her registration literally expires 24 hours before that happened so we also have a 150$ fine to pay as well. We can't afford to make the car payment because we had to get the rental. We're really juat keeping our fingers cross that century 3 Chevrolet will let us get into a vehicle with 0$ down if my mom cosigns. If theh don't we are pretty much out of a vehicle, which means i will be out of a job witb no hope of getting out of our situation anytime soon. Its just been one thing after another for us. Back in november i had totaled my truck from over working myself and falling asleep begind the wheel. I'm lucky to have come out of that uninjured as well. I hit a tree going 45mph.

Spiders are chill as fuck, especially daddy long legs. Great pest control system. Slow, but they really work.
a few huntsman spiders will do the job
Seriously man, start some kind of donation system. Like I previously posted, I'm glad to pitch in a sizable amount, and I'm sure others are too. We're a long-standing, (relatively) tight-knit community and I'd love to help. If you'd rather PM me feel free, but I'd recommend starting a donation system so we can all chip in.
I want to start a thread, but i don't want to come off as bothersome or needy to people. I actually had created a thread all the way back in October when we were being screwed over by our landlord and I guess I either put it in the wrong sub forum or i just asked in the wrong kind of way because the thread got locked and i got banned for 24 hours. I was gonna private message you but I can't seem to figure it out on this new version of the forums. I do have great news how ever. I finally convinced my mom to cosign on a preowned vehicle from a dealership. Car payments are gonna be the same as were paying for the buick. Not sure when jdbyrider is gonna be coming to get that hunk of junk. We have 44 days until our first car payment is due. whis is good and gives us time to try to set aside money, but our landlord here is starting to do some grimey shit. The sink in the kitchens clogged and her and the maintenance guy literally disconnected the trap and just let the water drain out and put it back togethor. then they went snooping around the house walking into everybody's bedrooms and trying to blame us for the poor condition that the house is in. when my girlfriends stepdad moved in here the basement was alread damp as fuck basement stairs are like wet and slimy and it smells like cat piss and shit down there, but thats from us she says. If it isn't one thing it's another. Just a quick note. It is the landlords responsibility in Pa to provide a habitable living space. meaning they are required to pay for the extermination. my girlfriends stepdad is still paying for the attempted extermination of the bedbugs which he had done before we moved in with him. There was also a cockroach infestation in the house before any of us at all lived here. https://www.northpennlegal.org/sites/www.northpennlegal.org/files/NPLS%20Bed%20Bug%20Flyer.pdf Pa tenant laws.
Can I ask you what is your original job that you had before this shitty one?
Jobs actually pretty great. I get paid for 7 hours each day I work at 12.50 an hour, and I usually only work for about 30-90 min.I can show up there anywhere from 5pm earliest to 12am at the latest. Thursday, Friday, and sunday I deal with the bread. Monday morning I help unload the pepperage(I'm gonna leave this spelt like this. I actually kinda hate this part of the job. FUcking bullshit 2000+boxes of goldfish etc. remember my ass, dumbass coworkers can't even remember the concept of stacking boxes on a pallet correctly. We've only been doing this for 4-5 months now and they still can't grasp it.) farm snack trailer all the way out in Robinsen by the airport which only takes 2 hours and i get paid for 4 at the same rate. So i tend to get anywhere from 25-39 hours depending on if the guy who does the other 2 days of bread goes out of town or not. So I probably only work anywhere from 3 and a half hours to 8 hours but still get paid the full 7 hours for each day I deal with the bread. I pretty much scored it from vending bread with my old boss. We pulled up the one morning to pick the bread up after he had gotten back from vacation, and there were cop cars, an ambulance, and a coroner in the parking lot. The dude who had the job before me had a heart attack in the parking lot and died there. They literally were just pulling the tarp over his body as we pulled up. Also i'm about to freak the fuck out. for some reason onstar decided to charge my bank account 38 bucks 3 times over withdrawing my account by 38 fucking dollars. What the fuck happened to my complimentary free fucking trial. I'm not supposed to have any automatic payments from it util September. I have a rental that i have to return with a full tank of gas today, I also need to vacuum it out. I also need to be able to make it back and forth from work until Thursday.
I really don't get how you can be that out of money when you work 12.5 x7 x7 a week
Yep. I rarely get to pick up the extra 2 days dealing with the bread. And recently i havent had the gas to make it out to the other warehouse to deal with the snacks on monday morning. Most weeks im only bringing home 205 a week. A good week only brings me 240-300. And those are pretty rare. We pretty much had been chasing maintenance on that stupid buick. It roughly costs me 10 bucks in gas to drive back and forth each day i go. So that anywhere from 30-50 bucks for gas each week. 120-200 a month thats not even factoring in detours, and any other gas we use. 175 every other week for car payments. 220 a month for car insurance. 50 bucks to keep one phone on. No washer or dryer so that's another 50. Another 25 a week to feed us two. 120-200+350+220+50+50+100=890-970. Then add in the fact the previous car kept having problem after problem before we wrecked. Any extra we had went to stupid car rentals while the car was being worked on.
turn into what now?
IIRC some guy essentially bragged about not using toilet paper, and that he instead kept a bucket of soapy water next to his toilet which he plunged his hand into and wiped his ass with, something like that
one letter away whooo wheee also, i feel ya in a way op. our family had someone do the same to us, but isntead they had to pay for them loaning our restaurant, they didnt pay the bill so we ended up getting behind on the restaurant rent with a couple 3000€, we still behind on some payments because of it.
Does your employer pay for mileage? If not I would see about asking for reimbursement for your travel costs, it seems like you're spending an awful lot of your take home on driving. Also when you purchase this new vehicle make sure you get a warranty with it.
Surprisingly the gas isnt what's fucking the expenses up. Consider this. I show up to work for 30-90 min get it done and leave. It costs me 10 bucks tp go to and from work. So 5 there and 5 back. I get roughly 70 for each time i deal with the bread. I'm considering filing for disability only because of the condition my back is in. When i got my first vehicle in 2016 i had the vehicle for 4 days and got rear ended. I have a herniated disc and nerve damage in my lower back. The only reason why i can even handle dealing with the trays of bread is because at most 1 tray weighs 18 lbs. I cant really lift over 25 lbs with put back pinching up and shooting down pain into my right leg and making it difficult to stand up when that happens. Work wise i'm limited in what i can do anymore. Ive worked on houses with my dad since i was 7 years old, im turning 27 this year. I've had to stop working in that type of field. Even going back to my fallback job as a dishwasher would be difficult for me to do with the way my back is and i had done that off an on in different restaurants since i was 12.
Sorry to bump my own thread folks but I almost just went to jail. My landlords maintenance guy threatened to cause physical harm to me so i flagged down a police officer. The landlord and maintenance guy claimed i threatened them to the police and the fucking sergeant told me what it was. told me i had no legal rights and welcome to johnstown. This fucking town is so fucking corrupt. we need to get out asap. Said he was going to arrest me just to make an example out of me. I'm so confused and rattled right now. I apologize this thread has become a cry out for help.
