This piece comes to mind. I did it last summer when I was really started to explore my own gender stuff and my teacher ended up being obsessed with it. Unfortunately, the actual material I made it out of was not meant to last and I trashed it sometime at the end of the last year because it was getting eaten by little bugs but I'm glad that I did it, even if it was temporary. It was probably the first time I was actually open to the people around me about questioning my gender. I've usually just kept it to the internet but it felt pretty freeing to do something with it for one of my classes.
I actually feel the same way whenever I draw something, and I'm curious as to what keeps you motivated?

And I dunno sometimes I like to do stupid smaller shit without thinking about it too much which helps balance out the pieces that take more effort. That and I also have some rly supportive friends who like everything I do which helps sometimes.

New to facepunch! Do you have any advice about threads/posts?
Would you like to play a video game with me sometime? I recently lost some real good friends and I could use some new ones.
Also, on a more serious note, while this is a nice step towards transparency, what other plans to be more transparent in the moderation here are planned? I see the event log, but it'd be nice to be able to filter it by type or see a ban log. I don't even see a refugee camp yet for banned folks to appeal. I ask this because I don't think anyone wants another certain frog-shaped troublemaker again. Even us who didn't interact with them saw them as a trouble, since they popped up everywhere.
While things are getting settled, do your best to be polite to people. Even if you're in the midst of a HOT DEBATE or something. People generally respond better when you're chill and don't take things too seriously. Once we get our rules up, be sure to keep them in mind as you explore. Otherwise, just have fun?
I don't play many video games anymore and it's an incredible rarity for me to get onto a voice chat to do it but I mean if you have anything in mind, let me know. I don't have any of those newfangled games like Fortnight and PUBG though. Not rly interested.
As far as transparency goes, a ban log would be great. But it would have to be up to Garry to code and implement it. We still don't know his stance on the Refugee Camp coming back but signs point to it being gone for good. We're relying on Discord for ban appeals in the interim.

Though, now that I think about it, your first response brings up a point I hadn't considered: When will we be getting some manner of private messaging or direct messaging? I realize it's a new forum and such, but I was just thinking about how there's really no way to privately message someone without finding out their discord and throwing dog biscuits at them until they respond. Any idea when that might be implemented in some fashion? Or maybe a way to link things in our backgrounds? I know @Inacio has a cool workaround in his background(I like your background buddy) but we really should have some manner of way to link things like that.
Also, I can understand not liking FPS games. I myself find that the older I get, the less good I am at such twitch shooters, so I mostly just play calm games like ff14, minecraft, or terraria. Modded, of course. Do you have a favorite game you like to mod? What's your favorite mod you've seen or used in a game? Since you don't play games too much, what do you do in the hours that you aren't laying the smackdown here at work on unruly ragamuffins?
