Habana uh nana
anyone have the problem where you find a song you end up really liking but end up overplaying it like the following week or whatever?
trap music
free bird. that fucking song comes on the radio at work every goddamn day. fuck free bird.
Smash Mouth All Star I'm sorry but this meme died years ago
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YY8Yhpa15Ts every minecraft video ever
Every single song that has those build ups and drops example Let me go by Hailee Steinfeld Not only is the song horrible by itself with that drop bit that makes no sense and is irritating on a whole new level, its such an obvious copy paste from a hundred other songs. And it seems like nowadays, its the only thing you hear on the radio. Like low effort trash.
I've heard We Found Love by Rhianna in a bunch of convenience stores recently, it's so out of place and just really off-putting and embarrassing early edm crap. Pop will always be a thing, but to me it seems like many of the less commercial or somewhat indie bands have gotten pretty mediocre as well. My nitpicks will sound a little vague but for example I swear that a lot of artists just don't really write melodies for huge chunks of their songs anymore. You'll get a verse or a bridge where it sounds like they took their lyrics and just sang random notes that have no importance other than they work with the chords. I've heard a lot of songs where the different sections don't flow naturally into each other at all too.
Hotline Bling by Drake and Get Lucky by Daft Punk
I work in a department store chock full of songs I never ever want to hear ever again, but if I had to pick one that makes me want to jump head first into the trash compactor, I'd pick this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z_6PCvdIXcM
Anything by Drake. Even songs I don't know yet. I fucking hate his sound and particularly his singing.
Thank god it has pretty much completely died off, but Shawn Mendes’ Treat You Better used to be ubiquitous on radio and I hated it so fucking much for being the “M’Lady *tips fedora*” of songs.
I have no control over the radio at work and the station I am forced to listen to continuously plays Ed Sheeran and the presenters don't shut up about him either. It's also a local radio station so I don't get the fascination. They are also starting to overplay Strangers by Sigrid, which is a shame because it's one of the few popo songs I like.
'I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing' by Aerosmith
That fucking ukulele that plays in every ad and buzzfeed video for the "cutesy" aesthetic. Any garage band sample in youtube videos
Bohemiam rhapsody. A lot of fleewood mac songs. Pretty much every cookie cutter classic rock station ruined by ishitradio just plays the same 30 or so shit. Sirius radio is just as garbage as normal radio because even then you pay for fucking censored radio edits.I just try to avoid radio all together at this point an use music streaming because that's the only thing that seems to change up and have variety. .

Everything by Duran Duran. I worked in retail for 5 years and we didn't have the rights to play BBC Radio 1 or 2, instead we had some god awful local station that played "classics". I think part of what made me want to progress in my career was that I didn't want to ever hear Duran Duran ever again, I don't know how they got so popular when the vocalist is the worst vocalist I think I've ever heard.
Im really tired of hearing about some shitty castle on a hill
Anything that Twenty One Pilots does, my tiny sister is in love with that band is constantly playing the same songs by them over and over and over.
Havana by Camila. I can't stand how fucking bored she sounds throughout the whole thing. Any happy upbeat piano instrumental that goes with commercials, doubly so if it's right before really loud metal. 7 Years by Lucas Graham. This song was done already, it's called 100 Years and is way better. Any "I don't need/want to be famous" song made after Royals. Any EDM song with a really hype buildup followed by a sudden, really sober drop. If you're going to do a 30 second hype up, don't kill said hype right after, dude.
I can't hear anything that sounds like blink 182 and stuff like it the teenagerish voices and the guitars are ear grinding to me
OO OOH IM A REBEL JUST FOR KICKS YEAH
i agree but it depends if its shitty trap. Id like to hear some new stuff that isnt crap
check my mixtape bb its fire
Bohemian Rhapsody is so overplayed on the radio, and it is a damn shame. I love Queen, but I don't love it so much that I want to hear the same two songs by them everyday. Play some Fat Bottom Girls for once!
(Bruno Mars - Finesse) Actually a pretty good song, but jesus my local radio station plays the shit out of it.
Love that tune like
There are lots that not just that I'm sick of hearing it, but also hate as well. So here's one of them: Katy Perry - Hot N Cold The Black Eyed Peas - I Gotta Feeling Ben Lee - Catch My Disease The song title by Ben Lee is terrible.
I hate it, and all songs like it. Ice Ice Baby and Dirty Bit are two other examples. You know, the kind that starts out with a sample of a familiar, far superior song. They get you comfortable in their first few seconds, then blast you right in the face with bullshit. Dirty Bit is particularly mean. It doesn't sound particularly like the original, but you go "Oh, it might be a cover, I can be down with this" once the lyrics start. Then suddenly, it changes over into full Black Eyed Peas style crap. Absolute worst.
