Disturbed fan myself and while I get that SoS has its detractors, people who call it the worst cover ever clearly haven't heard some of the REALLY bad ones. Like Five Finger Death Punch covering Mama Said Knock You Out, which is just as hilarious in practice as it is in theory. Though like with a lot of FFDP songs, the instrumentation is on point. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s87ToUxZY-Q
Obnoxiously "happy" music used in most TV commercials drive me up the wall, especially if it's the Ukulele/Xylophone/Clapping combination... Oh great, they're WHISTLING TOO!
"Sweet Child o' Mine" is a song you love for like a day, then you end up hating it forever.
I thought their first album was good but felt like every album after didn't try much to sound different.
You people would probably not understand but anything by Hoshino Gen. There is something really obnoxious about his music. Especially this overplayed song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jhOVibLEDhA Luckily I have not heard his music on the radio in ages, but whenever I do, whether it is on TV or at a store, I immediately turn it off or leave. Also, several other people already mentioned it but Ed Sheeran, and that 7 Years song.
Anything by Jason Derulo My boss literally has just 5 of his songs on repeat all day every day.
I WUZ BERN IN A SMALL TOWN GREW UP IN A SMERL TOWN SOMETHING SOMETHING SMALL TERN incoherient mumbling HARMONICA
Any "inspirational" songs like 'Eye of the Tiger" or "The Final Countdown". Songs like that not only get old really fast, but everyone donates every limb they have just to overhype the shit out of those songs. Oh, and movies need to overuse the hell out of them too.
Heart FM End me.
Anything from Jimmy Buffett.
Never been a fan of main stream pop music. As the beats tend to be very formulaic. Not really helped by Finland's music production circles being very tight.
"BOORRWWWNN IN DA U.S.A.!!!!" no.
Any modern pop-ass country song. The only thing that makes it "country" is the violin and the slightly modified lyrics. Let it be needs to fucking die.
Top 100 Songs | Billboard Hot 100 Chart | Billboard This propably sums it up better than I ever could.
I've lost touch with the world. I'm calling it.
hey theres 21 good songs there they're all either Travis Scott, Juice Wrld or Childish Gambino but still
Anything on the fucking radio - the top list players should be fucking drawn and quartered, and honestly those who listen to that unironically and not as background noise too
Anything from Taylor Swift. I don't like her music at all.
Pretty much anything they play at the grocery store where I work, which includes, but is not limited to: Manic Monday Someone Like You Hotel California Man In The Mirror The only exception is Man in Motion because I don't think I'll ever get tired of that song.
"All around me are familiar faces..."
We are the Champions by Queen. I don't understand why this song is so overplayed when their other hits are so much better. Bohemian Rhapsody as well on a lesser level. Its always a treat to catch something different like Under Pressure on the radio.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GiAINTvAfrw Sometimes you gotta kick somebody, when you ever hear this song, sometimes you gotta kick somebody, because you know you're majorly forever alone.
If I hear a Cardi B song one more time Im gonna lose my shit.
Every bloody variation, cover and remixes of Alan Walker's 'Faded'. My sister is obsessed with the song to the point that she has to play every known variation of Faded everytime we're in the car. The original, techno remix, a piano cover, a cover by some female youtuber singer and a cover by some male youtuber singer. Save me please, I don't think I can take another play of "WHERE ARE YOU NOAWWWWW???!!??"
The Red Hot Chili Peppers in general. Under the Bridge is an overrated song.
I just found out Imagine Dragons covered Mad World and it's literally just the Gary Jules version except completely lifeless. So basically like any song ID makes lately.
Wonderwall by Oasis. I know it's a really popular song, but I find it really irritating and annoying, especially the chorus droning on and on...
every song, music sucks
"Gotta get dat boom boom boom, gotta get dat boom b-" Ugh shut the hell up. Christ do I hate Black Eyed Peas. "I Gotta Feeling" is even worse. Was that song written by an overexcited 7-year-old?
Are you a normal person? Do you occasionally like to feel edgy? Well then listen to Riot by Three Days Grace. How about Killing in the Name of by Rage Against the Machine? Or maybe you would like to hear Let the Bodies Hit the Floor by Drowning Pool. We've also got you covered with a couple of radio friendly hits from Metallica, Avenged Sevenfold, and Five Finger Death Punch.
