Should I see Avengers even though I feel a bit fatigued by superhero movies? I think I've seen all of the Marvel movies up to this point because of family outings.
You'll be fine, it's pretty easy to get a grip on what's going on. Only thing I'd say is that the movie technically has spoilers for Thor 2 and 3. It's no biggie, but maybe watch 3, it's pretty good.

I've been fatigued by superhero movies, also haven't seen most of the Marvel movies due to that. Got invited to watch Infinity Wars and it was actually delightful. Thanos is a great villain and I actually liked the movie, much to my surprise. Didn't really get confused with the characters as well and didn't feel too long (even though the runtime is pretty long) So as someone who is fatigued by superhero movies and hasn't seen most of the Marvel films, I still highly recommend it.

I would honestly try to watch Thor: Ragnarok before going.
Phase III has been nothing but hit after hit, IW being the peak of the MCU. I'm honestly impressed with how well Marvel have managed to hold all this together.
Lets be honest, the Marvel heroes are all pretty well known outside of a few edge cases like Black Panther, Dr. Strange and Vision. Almost everyone knows who Thor, Captain America, Hulk, Iron Man, etc. are and a lot of the more side characters are all pretty self explanatory with their relationships to the big names. The only things the previous films are really required for is setting up the world to explain the Infinity Stones even a tad. I'd missed a few of the individual character films but I could still gleam enough from how the characters behaved to know what kind of guy they were, how they'd use their abilities and that shit. Thoroughly enjoyed the film, and much like Mike said it subverted my expectations a few times which was pretty neat. I'm genuinely interested in seeing where they go with the second half of it, something I didn't think I could see myself doing after Age of Ultron.
