Dr. Disrespect has a meltdown about Twitch Emotes mocking him

People found him legitimately entertaining.
Before Stupid Fucking Mistakes happened
I don't get it. Who's that supposed to be?
forsenCD Clap OMEGALUL
Person who's a bully can't take any bullying directed towards himself.
In other news, the sun shines, birds fly and water is wet.
E-celebrities aren't immune to mental instability. It won't be long until mr disrespect does rehab like all of the other big time celebrities.
What kind of actual bullying has doc done?
You know, something that isnt deliberately over the top and obviously in character?
I don't love Doc or anything, but you guys realize he plays a character on his show right? He's probably just venting some frustration with his over-the-top character. What's the big deal?
Here's the issue with this argument. His "character" is an egotistical asshole who thinks he's god's gift. Anything he says or does that might be seen as wrong will just be explained away by saying "BUT IT'S IN CHARACTER".
Thing is, just today in the replies of the tweet that was linked in the OP, he copied and pasted "Boyish giggles" in reply to several people who replied like some sort of angry 12 year old who just repeats the same thing over and over again thinking it wins him the argument. Then he replied to a few other people by posting their twitter profile picture, saying one guy had a chubby gut, and calling another kid lonely.
Now even though they were really weak "insults", they were still personal attacks on their appearance, which is not only low hanging fruit, but if that's """in character""" it's not very fitting for some super millionaire gamer god champion to stoop low enough to go after someone's looks, especially small time twitter users with less than 150 followers who are just memeing in his replies.
Wait, this guy actually goes on Twitch and takes up the majority of the screen with his face? I thought Twitch was about streaming games and shit, not streaming yourself with the slight inclusion of gaming.
That's his interim screen
When he's not in a lobby it would look the same as anyone else's

Not anymore, Twitch IRL is dedicated for not gaming content
The average person becoming super popular is a curse and most are not psychologically prepared for it.
He hasn't. People are just fucking shit and a ton of those giving him shit are literally the last fucking people i'd want in my life either. To me, being a healthy adult is about looking at people who aren't us, don't act like us and don't look like us and not being an angsty little bitch over it.
Half the internet is throwing a drama-fest over one guy's private life and i have no idea how people feel accomplished or content with themselves afterwards. I used to find 4chan drama juicy in 2006-7 and FP drama was p. good up til 2011 as entertainment. But not only have i grown older, the drama has gotten more "intense" and the stakes are (in a post-GG/SJW world) often someone elses life and privacy. Everyone is now a moral arbiter on everyone elses existence and it fucking sucks to watch an entire generation have such an autistic dedication to being shitheels full-time.
I don't give a single FUCK if the guy is a douche-back. I really don't care that he cheated, because even though he broadcasted it, it's still private. I really want you people to note this part: the most you're ever gonna use the knowledge that someone cheated on a previous partner for, is to determine whether you trust them in a relationship and whether you even want to be around them in the first place. Using this as some kind of justification to act like a bully (actually fuck that word. It belongs in grade school), harasser or justifying some kind of morally driven physical assault is just... I can't fathom how people can look at what they're doing and go "yep, this is the socially responsible thing to do!"
This whole shitstorm, once a-fucking-gain has me WAY more worried about the moral integrity of my own generation and those younger than me, than whatever the fuck this guy does to deserve it. Day by day, the internet just gets even more fucked up. I can't fucking stand the behavior that has become so normalized by e-activists with twitter-handles. Harassment is never cool. still not fun when you "play it off" as "'avin a bit o' a laff!" Bunch of fucking social rejects.
I'd agree with you if he hadn't also built his persona on shit-talking everyone else. What goes around comes around, as they say.
I like how you're somehow unable separate the character from the dude. What is it with people needing a position of moral superiority to shit on other people from these days? It's like people really HAVE to make a show of being morally superior (by being moral trashpiles in the process) rather than just walking away with an internal mental note that yeah, "that guy's a douche. Good to know." and moving on in life. There's no need to make his life harder and reveal yourself to be a douche of equal proportions. He's gonna do just fine at making his own life suck. It's how shitty people work.
I'm 17 and I'm honestly at lost of words
Who the fuck is this guy and why is he getting upset over a emoji
Hes a twitch eceleb famous for streaming PUBG, and then infamous for cheating on his wife, dropping streaming, and then coming back.
Yes its a character, partly anyways. He never breaks "character" either, even in interviews. I couldn't tell you his target audience, probably kids.
If you seriously haven't even heard of him once you are a bit out of the loop considering he is one of if not the most popular streamer ever and his cheating fiasco was in the news quite a bit.
you aint old
you are just out of the loop
which can be a good thing given the trash culture
This whole thing about character VS person has me wondering something, especially since people have said he never breaks character save for the whole transparency stream.
Was he in character when he cheated on his wife? I wonder if this is some sort of Jekyll/Hyde situation where the guy behind Dr. Disrespect has no control when he goes Disrespectful mode and the Doc goes off committing infidelity, harassing kids on twitter, and screaming at video games to make money 🤔
Yeah, I probably just realized that
I absolutely don't care about PUBG, Streaming and it's culture, so that's probably why
But seriously, what's the big deal of the emoji? Is there a "joke" I'm missing
How? It's a fucking emoji with shitty CD on them?
Wow, I'm so confused
Yes, I tried looking it up, still don't get it
The guy is acting and realises how stupid this all is. Why are so many of you so gullible? I am getting freaked out how so many people cant tell its all just an act for entertainment.
If it was just an act he wouldn't have had twitch take down every emote related to what he got upset at.
Why not? You are talking about it.
"all publicity is good publicity" doesn't apply to Twitch. People aren't going to flock to his channel to watch some manchild who throws a temper tantrum over emotes. If that was the case Summit wouldn't have tanked viewers after streaming with one of the Paul brothers.
He will go crazy if he gets divorsed
It is never 100% how anyones going to react to anything.
You've got this guy who brags about being the 2x Blockbuster video game world champion who just signed off that tweet with "I love being the best" who is constantly drooling and shouting and you cant see that this is a comedy act.
I love how twitch immediately removed the emote but there are titty streamers left and right going untouched
No, letting fame get to his head is why he cheated on his wife. The doc isn't a character, it's just an avenue for him to be a douche-bag.
It's just a character LOOOOOOL 4Head
Kaufman had talent and a normal personality.
If you want to make a comparison then say these internet clowns (DSP, dr dickhead, etc.) are like the air-headed celebrities that star on those vapid reality TV shows aka circus performers popular for the sake of being popular.
i.e. They figured out their inane tantrums could make a few bucks because there's an entire platform for equally stunted people to feed into it and toss them money.
Andy Kaufman was an actual actor, talent, and person though. People who knew him knew him to be a gentle, and genuine person. His character, and work was his life and he invested everything into that.
Comparing anyone like Dr Disrespect, or hell, literally any known actor today to Kaufman is absolute waste of a comparison. He was a one of a kind comedic talent.
