I'd love the abilities in that one Small worlds writing prompt story, where some people have little pocket universes, in them they're omnipotent gods, and outside them in the real world they're just immortal with the ability to do cool shit.

The ability to save / load IRL. Being able to save your life before making a major decision or at certain milestones and reloading if it doesn't work out would be great. Or just making a quicksave and fucking about. How about reloading from the beginning of your life in order to do a no-pants challenge run of life? The possibilities are endless.

Assuming every save is a parallel universe, what happens to you when you load? Do you just disappear from that universe? What about your loved ones? Will they spend the rest of their days desperately searching for you? Desperately searching for your body, even?

I thought of it more like nothing I would have done after that save would have happened from their point of view (unless I chose to do the exact same stuff again, but that defeats the purpose of having save / load powers) so nobody else remembers anything. So it'd be the same universe every time, but I'm the only one who'd actually remember anything that happened if I load a save.
