Cheetahs are fascinating to me. Mainly they're the only "big" cat that you can safely pet without fear of losing your hand.
Heck there's enough footage of cheetahs cuddling with random tourists for people to make youtube clickbait videos of them!

0:54 is my favorite.
Also at 0:15 - that's a Leopard. Cheetahs, even wild, are relatively mild-mannered by nature, but Leopards on the other hand? Those mofos can and will rip you open without a second thought. That's why he's the only one behind bars, and all the cheetahs are allowed to interact freely.
I wish I had enough time/money to travel to South Africa and visit one of these cheetah sanctuaries. Can you imagine what that deep purring must feel like under your hand?
Reminds me of Marko Raassina's Nerd & Jock comics

OH MY GAWD, it's too much for me to handle!!
I'm certain he and these lions have a history and he can read lion body language but I'd shit my pants if I saw a lion and lioness charging at me like that lmao
It's always strange and kinda funny to see someone cuddling with a fierce predator. Lions, Leopards, Jaguars, Tigers, Panthers, etc, all of these highly dangerous animals.
And yet these people are smart enough to take care of them properly all the way from birth, understand all their complex needs and wants, and recognize and respond to their body language so nobody gets hurt.

Perfect example, Dolph Volker, the Cheetah guy: https://youtu.be/BazBwjszSDs?t=157
It's fascinating how he has so much experience that he's comfortable with them even though they're trying their best to appear violent.
This is probably getting more into Auxillary pics territory, but if I wasn't already about to graduate I'd totally study zoology. I don't think I'd have the nerve or money to get a big cat myself, but it'd still be cool as hell to learn more on the study of their behavior.

Context from a tweet today if you don't understand:
'I played EB for the first time ever about two years ago when my son was first born. I’d play it with him sleeping on my lap or even in my arms. “Ness saw an image of his father holding him” happened while I was holding my son. A lifelong memory at 38. I love EB.'
Tell me if this isn't the kind of thing we want here.
