Well it's glad to know that their efforts failed already because outside of the NCR America's still a giant shithole 200 years after the war, especially the Bethesda's East Coast
Its a centaur racing minigame
*it's a centaur chariot racing minigame
Jason Schrier is probably right. He's usually pretty good about stuff like this.
The trailer looks like the Creation Engine to me, particularly the character's hands.
you can be using the same textures and meshes in nearly every engine available and tweak lighting and shaders to be pretty much identical too
I'm not saying its definitely not CE, but keep in mind, engines don't have specific "looks" to them, and if they're just porting over content, it could be literally any engine just judging on the video alone.
Fully fleshed out settlement game I bet
It makes me sad when people imply that Fallout 4 was bad. Yes, the lack of interactive elements in the story that we enjoyed in Fallout 3 and New Vegas such as blowing up an entire settlement was definitely a shame, and I found the lacklustre conversation system thoroughly disappointing, but Fallout 4 was still a good game in my opinion - no question. It wasn't as good as Fallout 3, and definitely not as good as Fallout: NV, but it wasn't "not good." Its improvements in combat made the game far more playable than Fallout 3 and NV, as the gunplay in those two was fucking disgusting, even though I put hundreds of hours into them.
Bunch of random things I noticed, some new assets/things that weren't in 4 and some just random.
There's a golf bag and a couple 9 irons by the nightstand. The bottle on the table says "DAK HO" with the rest obscured, and Lager underneath, I assume dak house. There's a mini nuke and stacks of pre-war cash on the book shelf and a deer skull on the wall as it pans up, new mascot head on top of the shelf? Military jeep and dirt bike toys next to the TV. Nuka cola rocket toy on the other side. 1st place trophy. Excellence in Bravery plaque, Performance award, outstanding achievement award, "best looking hair" award and a trophy shaped like a toilet in the cabinet. Some kind of stuffed purple cat on the washing machine. Nuka World mug and little wooden owl thing by the computer.
Also nobody has seemed to mention that it's a new vault suit design again.
bethesda couldn't fully flesh their way out of a wet paper bag
A Rust clone... That's the worst new direction the series could have gone in.
I wasn't trying to imply Fallout 4 was bad. I really enjoyed it, it's probably the Fallout game I've played the most.
Well... At least it's not a card game
I won't mind online if it's optional and you can still fully enjoy the game solo. My connexion can be arse sometimes so I gotta hope.
im deeply confused as to why you guys just randomly assume huge things about this with literally no info

And thus the cycle continues
Hype -> Mega hype close to release -> game gets released as a buggy mess, people complain that BGS are lazy cunts that rely on modders to fix their game for them -> people realise how mediocire the game was -> new title gets announced -> rinse repeat
They invented colored television displays, apparently!
When I first saw the title, I thought it was just a gaming-in-20XX joke because the thread was locked. But then I saw it was real.
Why are people so bad at naming games and getting the core concept across? Perhaps they are smarter than me because calling it something stupid generates buzz I guess.
Won't really be able to use mods if it's PVP.
It's possible that the game has been made a lot different but ever since almost the entire plot of Fallout 4 was leaked on 4chan a year before the game came out and everyone laughed at how stupidly obvious of a fake it was at the time, Bethesda leaks seem pretty reliable.
Put your mods in bethesda's official pay 4 mods site, and now not only can you use them, but others can see them too, and they will be able to use them too as long as they pay for it.
>it's real
wtf

I would love Bethesda to give a small dev, maybe even Obsidian, the rights to make an isometric Fallout similar to 1&2. Maybe even release it for both tablets and PCs.
A big part of Beth game mods is bug fixes. If they sell bug fixes they'll open the largest can of worms in the universe
Probably not going not be much modding if it's an instanced online sandbox game, and will probably determine whether future games get much modding either, because BGS is insulated as hell, and the only reason we have modding now is some of the team Leads got their start that direction, when those people retire, you can bet modding will too.
literally where is all this online sandbox rust info coming from
kneejerk reactions and off a post from 4chan, if they are using the same engine I really doubt they can do something akin to Rust
A couple of random posts on 4chan. I wouldn't trust it completely, it's 4chan after all. Someone might have heard the name of the game and a few specifics about it but I seriously doubt they had full access to the game and everything about it.

When Bethesda announced Fallout 76 with a teaser trailer this morning, promising more information at E3, it was easy to assume that the new game would be a traditional single-player role-playing game. But Fallout 76 is in fact an online survival RPG that’s heavily inspired by games like DayZ and Rust, according to three people familiar with the project.
