You can play clean, have a clean challenge and still get a yellow because the other player is flailing like pig in mud.
Hell, one of the Croat's got a yellow for taking his shirt off (which has been against the rules for quite a while now).
Imagine if that player then got an innocuous yellow in the semi tonight, costing them the ability to have a full line-up for the grand final.

I was cheering for Japan due to being our Asian neighbors but since they've been knocked out early, I'm mostly just enjoying the games. The recent enthusiasm and every step closer of England winning though is really exciting and the whole it's coming home mantra is really infectious, so I really hope they get it. I really want to see England's victory reactions if they win.
The streets were on fire yesterday. Spent one hour outside and people kept jumping around, waving flags and chanting. It even kept going in the metro back home.
French fans are hyped for a proper 20th anniversary, I hope the English go to the finals with the fervor to match, this should be an interesting final.

I don't think so. Despite our rivalry, I think people are more content losing to a respectable and worthy opponent, rather than Croatia or some of the other teams.
I've got a bad feeling about this, but even if England don't go through the fact that I actually got to see the side do as well and get as far as they have done makes me feel exceedingly happy and I hope this won't be a one off that won't be replicated for another few decades. It has been great, but let us see where we are in a couple hours time.

The majority of this team will still be playing come the next world cup, so it's quite promising on that front. Either way, this sort of run is already great.
