The Xbone controller. Sure, it's just a 360 controller with better ergonomics, but damn, it makes a difference.
xbone one is just the best, it's big enough, fits firmly in my hands.
I like all of the current gen controllers, but the Joy Cons are too small for my hands and my hands aren't even larger than average.
The Switch's Pro Controller has a great feel and weight to it.
The current Xbox One Controller is an improvement on the tried and tested Xbox 360 version.
The DS4 is my personal favorite for playing 2d classics and the like. It's also my go to Controller for Final Fantasy XIV.
After binding and adjusting the Steam Controller for Rocket league. I can never go back, it's the best way to play when you can use the paddles to do things that require multiple buttons being held at the same time.
I actually just use steam input. I set the DPAD as abxy and the stick as a dpad etc. It's very awkward to configure, and I'm really holding off on that until they add actual joycon support
360 controller for its ergonomics and layout. I want to like the steam controller, but the haptic sensors are too inaccurate, it has a configurable "tilt" to compensate for the angle of your thumb, but you have no tangible point of reference so when I'd go to aim left or right I'd end up sending my view up or down as well.
My last console was the 360 and I'm super used to the controller. So naturally I have USB one. Can't imagine using anything else honestly, it works and feels perfect.
It used to be the Xbox 360 but ever since I got an Xbox One, the 360 controller felt awkward and small to me. The XONE controller fits perfectly and my hands don't hurt after a lot of playing.
What is it that makes people prefer the X360 controller to the Xbone controller? I'm fascinated by this.
