GDPR compliance. Users need to be able to delete their accounts and all associated info. He should have made it so deleted posts are replaced with a blank post to prevent this, hopefully he will next time he updates the site.
How shock humor or crude humor, whatever you want to call it, hasn't changed on the internet in like 10 years. I still, still go on tons of youtube videos and I get "haha attack helicopters, black people, ugandan militia, anne frank, 9/11, the death of anne frank, just plain racism or sexism with no additional humor added".
I mention this because while it happens all the time I just seen a youtuber that has good timing, delivery, covers games I'm interested in, I can tell he's actually funny, but all that talent is used for is, "hey guys my online persona is random african militiamen get back in the kitchen hahuhauha"

From my understanding it's only personal info, and posts don't count as personal info. IPB's GDPR compliance in this regard remove the username and IP from the person's posts, but their posts still stay.

A lot of people just have a shit sense of humour, see: people whose entire humour production is references/memes. Even puns take, albeit a small amount of, wit to do. Shock "humour" is the same - just parroting off something one learned as being offensive without any attempt at actually making it comedic. It's really easy and a lot of people lap that stuff up.
Of course, then you get the people who use "shock humour" as a way to test the waters for things that aren't actually humour but instead just actual things they think. Those are always fun to call out while they hide behind the apparently impervious defence of "it's just a joke".

Why does a phone need to be wiped completely for a screen replacement?
Explain this to me Samsung.
The only thing I can think of is rather than replacing the screen, they replaced the entire phone because I took the "Qualcomm" sticker off of my phone and it's back with this one.
If I was sent a refurb phone I'm going to be incredibly pissed because I bought my phone new and paid for a repair not a replacement.
If I was given a replacement, it better be a brand new phone not one someone has owned before and even if I was given a replacement I'm going to be pissed if it's a new phone because it's completely fucking unnecessary.
I called my bank to cancel payments to a streaming service that I was having trouble canceling and the woman on the phone was so rushed she misheard me and nearly issued a chargeback to my Steam account instead.
I don't think I've ever been so panicked because she literally pulled me off hold to tell me that's what she was going to do and nearly put me back on hold before I had a chance to reply.

They insisted that it was a driver issue, that I needed to wipe my computer and start again, and that it was not their fault. I fucking booted Ubuntu and FreeDOS and it was no different. They still wanted to charge me again to fix their fuckup.
At that point I decided to just get a chromebook and mod it to use it as a normal Linux computer.

You know most of these "repulsive, deadbeat" people don't actually want to inject themselves with dangerous chemicals, steal shit from people to get their next fix, lose their jobs etc... I mean, you know this isn't a conscious decision that these people make, right? You know how drug addiction works right, or a you just completely fucking stupid?
Its not even like that, drug addictions are usually formed when a person attaches themselves to the drug because they dont have the usual social connection that humans crave.
So his attitude is even more disgusting because it only makes them want to use drugs more.

I support those who seek help and have the slightest audacity to keep their addiction separated from public. I had to stay in a public bathroom until police arrived and guard(as in keep someone from leaving) some dude after he was done injecting and smoking fentanyl or heroin or some unknown shit in one of the stalls. He was passed out and gradually fell on the floor. I couldn't even sleep tonight because I'm feeling the effects of whatever he was smoking.
Have some respect for those who want to just get through the day. Not everyone can stomach a borderline corpse laying in the street with a minefield of needles and syringes around him.
And my coworkers who share the language of most of the addicts here reported that they don't speak the language, didn't find work, and turned to drugs as a past time.
Do you have any idea how hard it is to even begin to seek help for an addiction? It is incredibly difficult. There's the body saying "no it's fine keep doing drugs" and then there's the societal aspect of it, people saying "all people addicted to drigs are worthless and scum" cause them to turn to the drug more.
Also not every homeless person is homeless by choice. Many, and I mean many of the homeless population have a mental disorder that isn't treated. They don't actually want to live like an animal.
