The bread and butter of internet humour is references and memes, it's all most people can do. To most people, originality exists to be referenced more than being funny in its own right.

When scientific documentaries on prehistoric organisms envision a fight between organisms, it's often a three-to-four way battle where the prey item escapes and two of the predators are busy gouging each others eyes out for no reason considering they were hungry. This is especially obnoxious when one of the predators of similar stature straight up comes out of nowhere and attacks the one successfully catching the still-living prey item instead of just waiting it out.
Meanwhile in reality, predators would not normally risk a fight when there is more available or would at the very least wait for the prey to be killed so that they can reduce the amount of variables that could incapacitate them permanently and rely on bluffing to steal fresh meat with little altercation, considering just a broken paw is enough to basically sign your death warrant if you're a pursuit hunter. (after all, the fittest survivors are the ones that have the judgement to live to see another day)
Social media creates echo chambers so you stay engaged on the site more. Making extremists for dat ad money and data collection.

One thing that really really annoys me with some shows is whenever they try to do drama between two or more people. And especially the character that starts and continues said drama.
One of these characters happens to be in the first episode of Black Mirror and is the wife of the prime minister. The PM has to fuck a pig live on television in order to save the princess of England from getting killed by a terrorist and his wife is angry over the fact that her husband is going to humiliate himself on live television. Now, as the near omnipotent viewer you might think that it's just stress on her side because of all that is happening. But no. Even a year after watching him do something disgusting and being disgusted with himself to the point where he had to throw up like someone with the biggest hangover. Even after the fact that now the population of Britain loves him because what he did and in the process saved one of the most loved people in Britain. Even a year after she's still. Fucking. Angry. At. Him. Why? Is it because "she knows people"? That's bullshit and I think she knows it.
Well here's yet another day that's ruined before it's even started

Shows that use the "wacky misunderstanding" plot device. Like, someone explains "she could go any minute" meaning that someone is gonna leave town, but someone misinterprets that as someone dying. And the plot holds onto that shit for 30 minutes. No, that's annoying and old.

I've been rear-eneded over a week ago, doing some serious damage to the rear bumper gas tank, nearly taking off the rear exhaust, and destroying one of my tires. When following up with the perpetrator's insurance they still will not do anything until they get a statement from their own client- meaning that I have been immobilized for over a week and am at risk for losing my job. Their response to all this is "Call your own insurance and get your vehicle fixed, we haven't even determined liability yet"
What the fuck, I have a police statement from the califonia highway patrol saying she had rear ended me on stop-and-go traffic, and yet you're not sure and will not help me get a rental car, let alone get the fix expedited so I can pays my bills and insurance you claim I should use?

This country is already small and the language and people are dying out quickly, but the government is full of elitist parasites who enable the last fragments of our resources to be harvested and sold abroad.
It's fucking impossible for our youth to get a life going since the cost of living is equal to central Europe but the wages are borderline poverty. The jobs are hard to cope with when the work force and clients also came from abroad and there always has to be a translator near-by to communicate.
Life is out of balance and it's impossible to settle down.
