Related, the way the youtube app minimises videos now is shit. It used to be you could have a video playing in the bottom corner of the screen while you browsed the app. Now it creates a bar across the bottom with the video squished into a tiny pane at the side, while the title of the video takes up most of the space. How in the goddamn everliving fuck has the minimum wage not been raised yet. Even making $10/hr (above the min wage where I am) doesn't come close to enough. If you are working 40hr/wk (FULL TIME) at $10/hr, you are making $19,200/year. Before taxes, Before sick days, Before expenses like rent, food, insurances, gas, bills, etc. How in the hell is that live-able at all?
