Any ideas why my 02 Fiesta's key fob works intermittently? sometimes it'll let me lock/unlock with no problems for a few days in a row and then suddenly stop again. I've changed the battery but I'm not sure what else to do besides get a new key fob It's one of those annoying problems where you keep saying "I'll sort that soon" to yourself but because it doesn't actually stop you from using the car you never fix it, I just lock/unlock with the key every single time ever since I bought the car but after tasting that sweet remote lock for the few days it did work recently I can't go back

I tried all the weird tricks, like the top gear "stick it on your temple" thing, I've even tried it while sat inside the damn car, it just works flawlessly or not at all

I have the same problem with my 07 focus. It's irritating as piss and I can't track it down.

Well got the unicorn transmission out. As well as all of the water that was in it. Tomorrow i get to pull it all apart and see how fucked i am. On a scale between 1 and 10, i'm predicting a solid 4. The guy said he got rid of it because he sank it. If that was less than a week or so ago and or the truck was rolled around in gear occasionally, i should be able to flush it out, put in new fluid and carry on. If not, i'm swapping the guts from the 4wd into the 2wd unit's case. I knew it was too good to be true.
