went out for a bike ride and on the way back some dumb fuck walked out onto the bike lane while i was coming through at lightspeed
tried to dodge him but i hit the curb at a too shallow angle to clear it and ended up totalling
scrapes and bruises and a minor sprain but a day's worth of giggles as it's been a fuckin long time since i last totalled
It's been SO LONG since I last wiped out on my bike, I don't want to jynx myself but the last time I fell off my bike was about eight years ago.
I took a turn too fast into gravel, and even then all that happened was I lowsided and slid on my jeans a bit, didn't even bruise.
I'm pretty sure I'm immune because I somehow funnel all my bike-bad-luck to my little brother, who has had multiple crashes that required stitches.
On the plus side, he's got a lot of badass scars.
I'm a pretty wobbly person, but I have godlike balance and control on my bike.

It definitely feels like it was designed around a controller, I'd recommend it. Also sometimes the mouse cursor doesn't disappear, which is pretty suck
