UK CHAT V5: Buying a pack of dodgy fags from a wide boy in Spoons

We keep getting our BKs closed down.
Hop on a ferry and come to Southampton, we have a burger King on each end of the high street, and a few greggs that are a few minutes walk from each other
I haven't had any post in 3 days.
Usually get post everyday, and I'm waiting for stuff sent first class.
We have a Greggs in Plymouth now.
North is expanding it seems.
We've got 4 Greggs within a 3 minute walk of each other in the town centre in Swindon.
I have two greggs on one road within 200 meters of each other in Woolwich, eat my sausage roll on the way to the DLR then grab another at the greggs near it
Do you lot have many Subways near you as I have 3 all within a reasonable walking distance of my house. One of them is less than 5 minutes on foot. I often go there for lunch if it is the weekend or if I can be bothered to get up early enough I get a beacon and cheese footlong for breakfast. This is a proper sized one with seating and it is in a petrol station. Coincidentally there is a Greggs right next to it as well.
Swindon Town Centre has 3 within 3 minutes of each other.
Also 3 within 3 minutes walk here.
2 within 100 metres, actually.
We have a Greggs and a local bakery separated only by a Specsavers. I support my local.

Glasgow's pretty good for Greggs I'd say.
Although I live in Paisley which has a modest 2 Greggs in the town centre. We've also 3 Subways in the town centre area and I think they're building a fourth. Happy days.
We have a Greggs smack bang in the middle of town.
As for Burger King we're supposedly getting one at the services just outside of town, but that's been in the works for about a year now.
Burger Kings are definitely more rare. Sometimes I go to the one in Central Station at Glasgow but it's more expensive due to the location and quite pricey for what it is.
lovely old walsall
Weird, I've never even set foot in a Greggs.
What's it like?
The sensation can't be described. It's like the Apple shop of bakeries. You need to try it for yourself.
Its okay
morning lads, had £250 nabbed from me on a night out last night, hows everyone else doing?
Why did you have £250 on you you muppet
they nabbed my card
Yeah, I have two within 5 minutes of each other in my town. Both are shut down by environmental health for terrible hygiene lmao
Subways are mostly all franchised (aka owned by mom and pops but everything is provided by corporate). It's kind of weird.
so the card fraud story gets worse, apparently another friend also had something happen to their card, they ended up £1.5k overdrawn
Thanks for the tip, tried it today and the quality was much better than the ITV player.
it's still better than wolves tho imo
The Iced Finger Buns are essentially cocaine on a cake.
thoughts on this, i have a meeting with a financial advisor , thinking about stocks and shares isa but not sure if i should include the eth i have most crypto's seem to be in the shitter atm
As a serious personal investment for the future? No.
As a fairly low value speculative moneymaker? Maybe?
You've missed the crypto wagon completely. Even if Etherums end up coming up on top they won't ever reach some of the previous values the last bubble caused.Just wait. Within time Bitcoin will bounce back into another bubble and you'll hear and see the signs before this happens.
I know somebody who put £8,000 in Bitcoin right when the bubble was ending. He's lost like 50% of his initial investment. Now he has no choice other than to wait and hope it comes back up and doesn't completely fizzle out into another coin.
as much as I love my job, 12 hour long days that mostly consist of heavy lifting till 4AM when i literally want to die sometimes makes me think otherwise
