humans are mammals so really everyone is a furry
What if you find some humanoid alien characters from a game or tv show or something sexy, but you still predominantly are interested in humans? Does that make you a closet exophile?
But what you described in your initial post is actively seeking out furry art the same as actively programming. Going "meh" to a piece of furry art obviously doesn't make you a furry, but if you're at the point where you're masturbaring at furry art, then that makes you a furry
profile background checks out
I don't at all get the appeal of football and I can't really wrap my head around how +1 hour of no goals is enjoyable.
the prevalence of concussions and sub-concussive injuries also renders it incredibly inhumane, especially when kids play it oh wait you mean soccer dont u, football players actually score points
I mean, if you're indifferent to it, you're not really a furry, you just don't care. A lot of things are "don't care" things for most people. I don't think that's a particularly controversial opinion as long as you don't ask the people still committing furry witch hunts. I guess that stigma just makes it less common for it to be a "don't care" trait though. The moment the fur starts being a positive trait is the moment you start to be furry in my book, though it's not like i'm gonna start judging people based on a single fetish.
They should make trade and community colleges free But if you think that your liberal arts / human resources / photography degree should be free you're an idiot and you're genuinely harming people who want to go in for something that can actually contribute something.
Umm, why? What's wrong with those courses?
honestly if you wanted to be very pedantic you could argue that it should be the opposite, if you claim that art, humanities, etc. have externalities for society but little financial yield. Whereas trades have very direct financial gain for the worker, making loans for said degrees a VERY safe bet.
Brioce buns for burgers can go to hell, and mayonase can join it.
Doesn't really taste good to lick though
There are a pretty huge number of people that get that and end up unemployed. They're worthless degrees that won't land you a job. If you're going to college for an overpriced art history degree you're not going anywhere with it.
So higher education is just for getting project into the most likely jobs? Not the elevation of society through higher learning?
What is so 'higher learning' about a geography, photography or arts degree that they're above trade and community college degrees. How is that going to elevate society? Community colleges in my state teach stuff like nursing, dentistry, engineering, welding etc. You can learn a lot about math and science through some of these degrees that translates into what you call 'higher education'. You shouldn't merely learning one trick. I would much rather learn math from someone that learned it through their engineering or science degree than anyone else, because they would know how to actually apply math in a way that is functional in the real world. They would have practical experience with it.
Above? you're the one suggesting differential treatment here.
I'm suggesting differential treatment because its practical in my head. I'm also suggesting it because these degrees can allow you to afford these types of 'higher learning' degrees, and because I think having that background would give you much more merit and experience. And because when I say 'free' I mean 100% free. I'm not opposed to regulating them to make them far less expensive, or financial aid. You're suggesting that we pay for a degree that will end up not being applied in any form and be wasted. Some of these degrees don't land people a job because they cannot apply them into anything. You also don't need a degree to be an amazing photographer, and it can't be applied into any 'practical' skills. That isn't to say these are useless skills or society doesn't need its speakers, but stuff like philosophy especially is something anyone can do without having a degree. you're a furry
With all due respects, that's bullshit. Just because those degrees and skills do not have specific product/service applications on a market, doesn't mean they are entirely worthless. Otherwise, we might as well burn all the non-technical books, because they have no actual value. People arguing history/philosophy without any actual background basing their entire knowledge on random internet facts is just sophistry. It's like saying that anyone can become a viable chemist by reading a "big smart" book.
I assume you're talking from personal experience?
warm rain is better than humid and mild to blistering but nothing is better than gentle snow
Cold weather > summer What is with white people and their love for summer, its hot af and they look like lobsters at the beach Like come try living in south east asia where humidity is like 70 plus percent all year and 5 mins after showering and going out you're covered in sweat
White person here, I hate summer too. I'd rather cold weather with layers of layers of comfy clothing
Plus you get to dress up or dress down depending on how accustomed you are to the cold. Motherfuckin try wearing an office wear without an undershirt. You get a huge wet disgusting patch at your back.
every summer the weekly "actually i prefer winter to summer" posts start and they always gets about 20 agrees. can we all agree that its NOT an unpopular opinion
Unpopular opinion as a whole. Like most of the world fancies summer over dark depressing winter Also, Helghast did nothing wrong
every single post you made on that JBP thread (plus this one) is "i like this thing he does and if you don't, you're lying or a shill" if it were as transparent as you say, you should've had no problem picking specific points and countering them to reveal this. one has to wonder why you didn't
If you count everyone outside Facepunch it's a very unpopular opinion. I know basically nobody at all irl who agrees with me on the subject, for example.
Crash Bandicoot 1 is more annoyance and difficulty than it is fun.
peter gabriel has a horrible voice, I wish to never hear it again!
to be fair most of the world doesn't spend all summer in their bedroom with their gaming rig generating heat 16 hours a day, i like summer because i can spend all evening chilling outside in my shorts, instead of winter when it's pitch black and 0c by the time i leave work
