if you've only played the NST version play the actual original it's much better
With how populations are moving in the US (to the sunshine belt) this ain't really hold up
and this is where your entire point falls apart.
what exactly is worthless about them? why is studying humanity, developing critical thinking and writing skills, learning to solve problems in unique ways, not valuable?
beyond that, the value of a liberal art's degree isn't in the specifics of what you're studying at a bachelors level (although speciliazation for certain careers at the master's and phd level is important) but the skills that you gain that can be applied to a wide variety of fields and careers.
but hey what would i know, i currently have a job and a liberal arts degree. they're just worthless
lol.
guess im a chemist if i start mixing chemicals together in my kitchen then. anyone can do that! i'm also a mechanic because i can rotate my tires and add oil to my car.
that's not how it works lol. philosophy is more than just sitting around making up questions, its a lot of interaction with the field - a deep understanding of the concepts and field that you're interacting with and writing about. you don't get that as a layman in any field. you don't become a historian by reading a handful of books on a topic, you become one through years of study, years of interacting with your field and the historiography, and actually demonstrating that you know your shit and can contribute to the field in some meaningful way. it's the same with philosophy and other liberal arts. hell, it's the same with any field.
also your claim is bs because the ~spooky~ liberal arts is what universities started off with way back when. mathematics, natural sciences, history, philosophy, writing, etc... those are the humanities. they are what defines us.
White person here and I live in the deep south where humidity is about 100% year round and the average temperature is 95F you're like a baby to me.
It's more a personal preference, even the most well done stuff is still kinda "eh" at best to me. I'm just more spooked by stuff that feels more real and relatable than i am by dumb ghosts
Fall is the superior season
you get to wear cool outfits again
I like sweeping up the leaves on a chilly day, and I get to make timelapses of the street as the leaves begin to turn colour and eventually fall.
while the hitboxes in the NST version are worse, the controls themselves are much improved
you have much better air control in NST and you can even change direction while spinning, unlike in the original
it's a matter of taste whether you prefer more control with harder jumps or less control with easier jumps, but i definitely wouldnt call the original "much better"
and that's not even taking into account how things like saving and the bonus stages work in the original
I dunno, 0ºC sounds like a pretty comfortable temperature to me. I'm only exaggerating a bit actually, lol.
Ugh white people and their *shuffles deck, pulls out card* admiration for summer.
But jokes aside,I guess it has to do with people who find it easier to be cool than to be warm.
Iced coffee is disgusting
Iced tea basically amounts sugar, aged urine, and water
Fervently disagree. I drink iced tea more than water. (homemade, not that overly sweet store crap)
Mediterranean summer is a beautiful thing, especially when the sun goes down and it starts getting hotter.
I think you may wanna look into a new source of tea. Cause that's definitely not tea.
While sites like Russiantoday are terribly bias, they do provide some info/videos on otherwise rarely covered or ignored news.
It's pointless and discouraging when people give you that quick "you said something stupid" look when you actually just said something normal but they heard you out of context.
Even if he is considered heinous, Trump is unfortunately highly likely to become Time's Person of the Year because people won't shut up about his actions. as it isn't based on good standing but notability.
Despite this, I hope it's Moon Jae-In or someone else who actually is of moral value.
That thing people do here where their avatar is a less transparent part of their background does not look as good as they think it does.
Yes it does
I think it very heavily depends on the avatar. I forget who's it was but I saw one where the av was used to light up the eye on a mech.
Doesn't Time choose people based on "for better or for worst...has done the most to influence events of the year"?
Licking book pages to flip them is fucking disgusting
Like why is it so damn popular in movies and tv shows
You lick the page, flip, and then lick again. I hope you like the taste of pages
Money had exchanged so many hands its fucking unhygienic
Last thing I'll do is fucking lick em
I love eating at a good buffet, but I can't help but think that a considerable number of people don't wash their hands after using the latrine and then proceed to touch the utensils.
Your biggest enemy is your friend and your best friend is your enemy. If you can create a relationship with the people who are against you, you can work towards peaceful resolution. Your friends, however, can make your side look totally unreasonable and worth laughing at.
I tend to be far more annoyed by people who are on my side, because often times they are smug and looking to score Twitter points while pushing everyone away. I personally feel that I could honestly qualify as a male feminist but I can't say that without being immediately represented by Anita Sarkeesian & Co and hearing about how they alienate people from their cause. Thus, I've hung out with a lot of Trump supporters while disagreeing with them and condemned people with the same ideology as me for being insufferable.
playing the devil's advocate is, majority of the time, just an excuse to be contrarian.
God, thank you. Devil's advocate should be used to strengthen an argument by logically working your way through a contrary argument. Instead it's an excuse to shit up conversations with the excuse of "w-well I don't ACTUALLY believe that!! just playing devil's avocado!!!!!~"
Since I recently set up my old Playstation 3 Slim in the living room, and it was installed in the system already, I entertained myself by playing the original opening level of God of War the First HD (the Aegean Sea).
As I was killing undead legionaries and decapitating Hydra's heads left and right, I had much more fun than the amount I managed to find in the 2018 PS4 reboot.
And mind you, I'm among the people who didn't dislike the reboot that much to begin with
left over pizza from the day before is disgusting
