Woolie does too. I only know this though because I found out he doesn't follow me like the other guys do. Woolie follows shadman but not a sick monster like me.
Half the time I see borderline furry porn on my Twitter tl it's something liked by Liam, which is not surprising considering the kinda people he follows He even straight up retweeted a kemono hentai art pack once
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3rtoruOQYMg Oh my gawd! That looked like America today but a little bit worse!
Woolie is like, one of the only two followers I have lol https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/109700/86ebd83f-01c9-4f9c-9a0c-d0344175653b/Capture.PNG
I wasn't aware of this and I honestly wish I could still say the same.
You're of esteemed company, like...shadman. Not that twisted freak Googleygareth (Seriously though what the fuck y'all he draws child porn)
Nah he's a meme though so it's fine.
Obviously Gareth should make SFM porn of Woolie so senpai would notice him (don't actually do this, please)
Short hair athletic girl SFM haymakering a bowl of cereal/ a logo of the Reboot reboot. Instant follow.
I follow Clemps on twitter, and it's like 75% porn and 25% anxiety
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kxDysTSC51g can we get a gif of Chris cowarding out from that lady at 21:55?
https://twitter.com/2BFOfficial/status/1020118115227774976?s=20 Oh good worst movie YT reviewer is a podcast guest.
That sounds awful
I don't understand why people hate YMS aside from his voice being annoying (which I kind of get). I mean, he's not especially funny, but I don't thing he's done anything deserving of the title "worst movie YT reviewer."
I like him when he's paired with other people, but he strikes me as the kinda guy who takes his own opinions way too seriously. Like, didn't he literally say something to the effect of "is this made for kids or something?" while reviewing Coco or Toy Story 3? You have guys like IHE or Ralphthemoviemaker who can at least adjust their expectations and accept that stuff like the MCU isn't trying to be high art, but it feels like Adam constantly feels the need to play the "well some of you might like this movie but unfortunately I have a brain and I just can't "turn it off" so yeah" card.
that sounds like a lot of projecting to me, because i think it's more likely he just doesn't really care for MCU movies because they tend to be bland and formulaic
He literally called Incdedibles 2, which you can argue may or may not be better than the first one, a "sequel cashgrab and nothing else." When you know that Brad Bird has been planning this for years, "cashgrab" doesn't work. He acts like all movies with sequels have "Sequelitis" or that the movie industry is bankrupt for ideas. Even for one good movie he saw that had "small" issues he gave it 7/10 or a C. Nothing I've ever seen from him went higher than that.
How in the shit could Incredibles 2 be a cashgrab. The fucking film was in development since Ratatouille and Brad Bird couldn't get it into proper production for six years after that. It could have been the worst film ever and it still wouldn't have been a cashgrab.
i agree his views on the incredibles 2 are weird, but i dont think that invalidates his other reviews recently he has given Burning and Under the Silver Lake both 8/10 and Isle of Dogs a 9/10 he rarely gives movies 9s or 10s just like he rarely gives movies 1s or 2s, most of his review scores tend to be around the 4-7 area since that's the "meh" to "good" range and a movie only having small issues doesnt necessarily make it a great movie anyways, we probably shouldn't turn the best friends thread into a YMS thread
What I'm going at is that the next time if I'm ever looking for a valid reason to see a movie or not, YMS is the last person I look for.
i tend to watch movies he recommends because so far all of them have been at least interesting i wouldn't be discouraged from watching a movie i was interested in if he didn't like it though
Hank's Son go UP^ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ee6KRdODIxQ&t=100s
When I saw that they were streaming the podcast and saw a white dude with long brown hair in the thumbnail, it made my heart skip a beat because I thought Liam was a guest. Still interested in tomorrow's episode though.

Nah, I just mean that for as bullshit as the "lol just turn your brain off" defense is, you can allow your standards to be flexible depending on what it is you're watching. I'm not going to go into an MCU movie with the same expectations as if I was going into something like Hereditary, and that's fine. It's also totally fine to dislike stuff like Pixar or the MCU, but eventually you have to ask "okay, if you keep saying over and over how you personally don't like X, why are you still going out and paying to see them?" If these movies are just meant to be inoffensive family blockbusters meant to sell toys and popcorn, how can you be at all disappointed when that's exactly what you get? Like I said, it just takes a certain lack of self-awareness to legitimately ask "is this made for kids or something" while watching a Pixar movie. Don't get me wrong, I love his content when he's making fun of stuff like Cool Cat or when he's in a group like with Sardonicast (Adum and Pals is also fantastic), but a lot of his more serious stuff just feels like it's trying way too hard to be taken seriously.
"Is this loss?"
if peach wasn't there you'd think it was true scale
that's fair, i agree that movie review channels in general should stop forcing themselves to watch and review every star wars and marvel movie just because they're popular and people will keep nagging on asking their opinions on them if they dont
Oh I absolutely agree with that last point (especially when it comes to Pixar), it just bugs me when I see people take it WAY too far. Like, there's a part in his review of Toy Story 3 where he goes in super hard on the Mr. Potato Head tortilla gag and tries to paint it as sloppy filmmaking, like "oh so if they plug his body parts into the ground, does he BECOME THE EARTH???", as if it's not just a visual gag in a family film about living toys going on toy adventures. "It's for kids" shouldn't be used to defend bad movies, but there comes a point where you have to consider what the film itself is trying to accomplish and judge it for what it is, rather than what you think it should be (although there are definitely cases in which you can do that, see most of the DCEU).
