I mean, they could try to conciously avoid just hammering the shoot button.
But the combo inputs for DMC 2 are so fucking awful that I cloud never actually get anything cool looking to happen consistently. And that god forsaken stinger 😰
I tried to use melee as much as possible, but there are so many flying enemies that are difficult to hit with your sword, and very easy to just shoot.
And there are bosses that are impossible to hit with your sword most of the time, so you're just holding down the shoot button while you're waiting for them to get in range.
You can literally beat the second disc of DMC2 in like... one sitting without pushing yourself. 2 is really, really fucking bad.
Combine that with the idea that they needed to fans requests, and it's no wonder it turned out the way it did. I'm glad he got another chance with 3.
Someone tell Pat that he can charge his guns while swinging his sword in Gunslinger and then get him to try it again
I'm doing a Gunslinger playthrough and the best way to do it is to swap the shoot and DT buttons so that shoot is on L1 and DT is on square. When I started playing with Gunslinger I hated it but after playing through most of the game with it I like it as much as Swordmaster.
Getting prepared for a friends wedding is a bit tedious, but seeing Woolie cut a rug compared to my shitty dance moves makes me feel a bit better about the people I'll meet versus who has the sickest dance moves.
I can see this clip getting a lot of milage. Let me throw my hat in.
