As far as I'm concerned, I watch them just to listen to CrymeTina and Matt be hilarious together. I love it when she gets heated about a design she doesn't like.

oh my god someone please explain to them the difference between high score and combo because it confuses them every time
I honestly don't think there is one. Other than maybe high score means it's freeform while combo means you have to do something during it.
The Highscore goals are accumulating as many points as possible within the time limit, which is shown on the top left of the screen next to the everpresent SCORE.
The Combo goals are always accumulating as many points in a single combo with a prerequisite like + grinding these rails, - manuals etc.
The guys have played these skateboarding games before, it's the LP tax that's in full swing here.
They could definitely have grabbed it for PC if they wanted decent image quality. While not buyable, it's quite easy to find today and works on modern PCs with a few tweaks for resolution support (but the HUD gets fucked up). Or just played it on GC or whatever, I expect even Dolphin would run the game more consistently than whatever they're doing.
I'd be cool if they actually explored places a bit more too, there's loads of neat areas you wont see if you don't achieve certain goals, and most of the destruction parts of the maps aren't even tied to goals.
They're playing on Xbox One, the only probable reason why is they already have that set up for recording.

Bitey blood lady looks really fun to play, how much to I have to throw at this game for it to be playable? Mainly interested in Punchman, Bitey lady, lawnmower ninja, and the dirty, dirty chinese.
$15USD for the starter edition, but all those heroes were DLC and will need to be bought individually w/ honorcoins (you'll earn about 1/10th of the coins for one character doing easy daily quests, or 1/15th for one chinese character)

Beating that thing legit is an exercise in frustration. Cheesing it with Pandora is probably going to be the go-to just to get the LP moving.
The DMC4 LP is really good so far, the only real problem everyone seems to have is Woolie isn't mashing out the full length busters, single cycles are fine for clearing the screen, but the full things are great for styling on fools. The Dante section is going to be entertaining, DMC3 doesn't do the style system justice due to the limitations it had back then.
