Damn I've been watching them since their Machinima vids so this really sucks but I did kinda notice Matt and Pat getting less banter-y for a while now but I didn't think it would deteriorate into friendship ending shit, I know everyone doesn't like Matt and found him to be the weakest member of the group or something but the TBFP combo was still the best combo on the channel because of all the dumb shit fun Matt and Pat had together, the Star Trek episodes even reminded me of the old Machinima eps

Well uh Pat and Woolie are still doing the podcast under a different name, maybe at least they'll do some LP's together too like Woolie does with Liam on his channel?

DMC V is all but guaranteed hopefully

Regardless of what led to this decision, I'm going to follow all the boys on their individual projects. Still watch Liam's stuff too.

This is heart wrenching for me. the Super Best Friends have been my favorite channel for years, including the podcast. There's nothing quite else like them. Don't really know what to replace them with.

TBH I've been vocal about not liking Matt for awhile now and it feels like a fucking monkey's paw. This fucking sucks

I don't want my 3 weird dads to break up. It's bittersweet but lately I've enjoyed Pat & Woolie more, I'll stay subbed to each of them and I'll bet Pat & Woolie will still duo up together occasionally.

Absolutely Heartbroken over this even if I haven't watched as avidly as I did 8 years ago.

I mean I always knew this would happen eventually, I could honestly somewhat tell Matt and Pat weren't getting on since their relationship in their videos had seemed a bit meh for a while. I guess that's the kind of issue that comes up when your business relies on you all getting on. Shame since the star trek series was still fun. Glad Woolie and Pat are continuing the podcast though, don't think I could live without something to listen to on the bus.

i've always thought that pat seems like the kind of friend you're always on the verge of falling out with; i'm not really surprised it's come to this it's still really sad that SBFP is ending, though. does anyone have any recommendations for any LPer groups to watch in their stead?

I started watching them at the end if middle school after falling out with another 4 man let's play group (4playerpodcast) when someone posted their Man Vs Wild machinima here in that survival game thread, I loved them since. I watched them pretty much every day through highschool. This hurts more than I like to admit

Honestly I'm not surprised they broke up. Matt has clearly wanted to move on for a long while, and when they all started doing their own shit it became pretty obvious the end was coming. It's a damn shame though. We'll never get that Dragon's Dogma LP people kept goading Pat into doing.
