Not too much of a fan of it.

Eh, doesn't seem fitting with the theme

Hated the vocals, but I can see where they were going with this.

Very much so, yes. Sticking that one in my burgeoning "unsettling electronica" playlist.

very nice and chill

this isn't really my normal sort of thing-- closer to that emo-indie rock spectrum that is generally outside of my interest-- but I can see how it appeals to its audience; the warmth and color of the guitar tone compliments the sound immensely (it reminds me of Boris' Flood a little bit); could maybe do with a slightly punchier drum sound, but the position of the bass in the mix is lovely; the vocalist's emotional rawness is definitely appealing, and it's overall very catchy

ignore that it's a lyric video, I couldn't find anything else that didn't sound like ass
Nope

I just wanna say I appreciate that you kinda delved into your thoughts on the track, I try to do that too but sometimes I find myself incapable of it and it's nice to see. I feel like this should be a place to genuinely discover new music you might not try before.
As for the abover song, I won't lie I've always struggled to get into Tribe Called Quest and I have no idea why, maybe it's just the intimidating legend factor that makes me worried about disliking it or something but I always appreciate the ability and vibe and instrumentality, that old bass heavy but not blaring 808 low end and punchy snare all very uhhh... SP 404 feel. Honestly can't say I love the track but I respect it and one day I'm sure it'll click and I'll properly dive into Tribe
7/10

again, this isn't really my wheelhouse, so my analysis comes with a few grains of salt; as far as evoking a melancholic, unsettled, and lonely atmosphere, though, it definitely does the job, although it lacks the melodramatic power, esotericism, or oppressiveness that I would normally seek out in my sad music; it's not the least pleasant thing i've ever heard, but i would never seek it out on my own.
to exemplify my point, here's miranda sex garden

Not bad, but not my cup of tea.

a hidden gem in 90s hip-hop, I love these guys.

Such a good ass song, I love ATCQ

fucking classic track, love beastie boys on the occasion, a little dated obviously so not a constant listen for me but it's always fun to toss on some of their tracks every now and again. I tend to forget how interesting their production was for the era too.

Dude I fucking love that a lot thank you
yeah whatever

My friend's band, be critical
It's hard for me to be critical, especially with something as subjective as music. But I like it a lot. Like a newer Smith Westerns vibe going on, I dig it.

I like Vince Staples, but that song is definitely very very weak compared to his other songs.

Fuckin' love TMBG but I've never heard this one. I love it though, feels a lot like my favorites; Someone Keeps Moving My Chair or Statue Got Me High

It's pleasant enough but meh?

I like it despite not understanding the lyrics. Sounds like one of those road trip montage songs.

as far as industrial metal goes, this is closer to the post-industrial/electro-industrial/EBM side of the spectrum than I normally lean (it's fitting that this was called Aggrotech); I'm more of a traditionalist in the vein of early Godflesh, maybe early Neurosis, a little closer to early Swans-- stuff that echoes industrial as defined by Coil, Nurse with Wound, and Throbbing Gristle, rather than industrial as defined by later Skinny Puppy and industrial rock/metal
here's some mildly esoteric greek black metal

I have immense trouble ever liking black metal, no matter how hard i try I cant actually stand to listen to it for very long so this was a struggle. I did enjoy the part after 5.25 though.

Definitely not my cup of tea.
