It's weird seeing things like this that look like bad 90's CGI but it's real
https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/239255/61dba832-6b50-460d-9045-09a574cecb29/image.png A Boeing 747-200 of Baltia Airlines at Willow Run Airport in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Founded in 1989 with the aim of flying from New York to the Soviet Union, it has yet to operate a single flight in its 28-year history despite the regulatory approval to do so and the acquisition of several aircraft like the one above. The airline has not generated any revenue in this period other than that provided by investors, leading it to be labeled a scam. In 2018 the airline's operation certificate was revoked by the Federal Aviation Administration, essentially leaving Baltia as an airline unable to fly. The airline still technically exists as USGlobal Airways following a 2017 rebrand, but with its operations certificate revoked the future of the company is now shrouded in even more mystery than before.
Doing a little reading, it sounds like either a scam or it's run by the biggest dumbass in history. They kept buying 747s they couldn't afford to fly and having to sell them to pay the bills
So that's how trains kiss

where's the best place to find these?
I found those in this thread but I'm sure there's a much better source for them, I just don't know where. There's a lot of good shit on /hr/ btw if you ignore the softcore porn. Or not if that's what you're in to.
Just a neat little piece of Adventure Time storyboard art. https://78.media.tumblr.com/9e71e8d254ac560d543be76acd82be1a/tumblr_p4s2xu4nEI1t0t09yo2_1280.jpg

Three days later she would be at the bottom of the ocean. This is also a good photo to show that funnel four (furthest left note the lack of smoke) was just for show.
I say we got back to drawing dragons and shit all over our maps.
Not sure what auxillary means in this context, but I think this picture is pretty and fits in https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/257289637960220673/469715897406193674/image.jpg
No lets first genetically engineer dragons and shit and put them in the ocean, then draw them on maps.

If I recall correctly, those creatures are actually drawn there to deter people from going there. They're often only located on dangerous spots/seas.

Its one reason why is so amazing in Bioshock, Gotham city, Great Gatsby
I think art deco gets less appreciation than it deserves because there's just a lot of reeeally bad and tacky art deco in the world

Can't forget Lea Stein's art deco foxes!
I got to visit an old 1920's era art deco power plant as it was being torn down. Stupid me only took a few pictures though. First two are mine and last two are from the internet. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/170872/cc101fd2-2c2f-439b-9bcd-b9851310c116/image.png https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/170872/f451e8fb-97c0-420d-a04f-fec60e3e0dce/image.png https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/170872/62021306-fee3-4264-bb66-f54b9d31c440/image.png https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/170872/303555a3-dd61-4733-9664-339507daa103/image.png To this day I still regret not taking more detailed pictures while we were exploring. It's been completely demolished for two years now. Here's one of the last photos taken: https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/170872/fcf1f283-c81b-46f1-9a53-21e150e9489a/image.png
Something really surreal about that last shot with just the front wall surrounded by snow and rubble.
If you like art deco you should visit Chicago, it's basically like visiting Rapture with how many buildings constructed there used the style inside and out. Here's some pictures I took on my trip there last month. http://u.cubeupload.com/callumshell1/img20180613181757279.jpg http://u.cubeupload.com/callumshell1/img20180615155707428.jpg http://u.cubeupload.com/callumshell1/img20180615133630279.jpg http://u.cubeupload.com/callumshell1/img20180615150700289.jpg http://u.cubeupload.com/callumshell1/img20180615133958289.jpg http://u.cubeupload.com/callumshell1/DSC06022.jpg http://u.cubeupload.com/callumshell1/DSC06027.jpg http://u.cubeupload.com/callumshell1/DSC06025.jpg ye i fukken love art deco shit apologies for the dump
The powerplant I posted above is just outside Chi-town and was built by Graham, Anderson, Probst & White, also know as the designers of such buildings as: the Merchandise Mart the Wrigley Building the Civic Opera House the Field Museum Union Station and a fuckton more iconic art-deco structures
Yeah, I absolutely adore the Carbide and Carbon Building and the Harold’s Washington Library. I got to go by the latter just about every day since the DePaul downtown campus was right there. I only went into it once, but it was amazing.
