The storm and flooding report visual were created in the unreal engine.
The last beheading in Norway apparently happened right behind our old house, where I lived when I was between 5 and 9. Used to play a lot on that little hill. Only about 100 meters from the house.
The last person to get hung in the UK was the same guy that killed one of my great relatives (can't remember the relation exactly, uncle I think?) His murder was one of the major cases that pushed for the abolition of capital punishment in the UK Islington News
The attention to detail they put in these is astonishing for a weather channel
One of the last women to receive the death penalty here in Sweden was apparenntly related (distant cousin) to my great grandmother. IIRC she drowned her kids in a bathtub or something.
Probably very late about this, but apparently some solar power plants have been producing "death rays" which ignite birds and insects: https://youtu.be/ICLXQN_lURk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=emBY6phmn9E
Still a smaller environmental impact than coal power plants.
Considering that works by boiling salt, why is that surprising at all?
I think I've posted this before. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T9xSrnotXxU Probably some of the best high speed footage I've ever seen.

I should point out the driver survive this. https://i.imgur.com/Rj4Hmx9.jpg https://i.imgur.com/d3vs8gW.jpg
Having a near death experience can really change you, but man if I survived that I'd be convinced I'm the chosen one
Also have to ask what degree of "survived" are we talking here. Did they come out a blind quadriplegic clinging to something resembling a life, or did they walk away with a bruise?
Reminds me of that Audi that was completely destroyed, save for the driver's area. The driver walked away with no real injury.
Non-life threatening injury to one arm apparently. https://www.adelaidenow.com.au/news/law-order/port-wakefield-accident-driver-relatively-unscathed-after-hitting-a-pole-on-augusta-hwy/news-story/9d542f69ddf762a359b055c1c859bcde?nk=736eb8c06392da6692a924f1cddeb720-1537491293
I would buy a lot of scratch-offs.
I'll spend all my scratch off money on hookers

Two kids riding their bikes through Burlington, Vermont in 1965. Here's what the scene looks like today: Google Maps https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/109776/5cc4818e-519f-4052-a89c-aec26405c6f3/BurlingtonVT1965_2500.jpg
I went to college up in Burlington and it's wild how much the place has and hasn't changed. The downtown is opening up to taller structures but a lot of the housing and residential areas still consist of old Victorian era buildings.
I used to drive up to visit someone near Stowe and even driving from New Hampshire to Vermont it's a noticeably different atmosphere. Feels like going back in time.
