So my previous real estate just sent me a massive list of bullshit they found wrong in the house to justify not giving me my bond back. Fucking cunts are the absolute worse real estate i have ever dealt with.

You can take them to the small claims court for your bond back. Neither of you are allowed lawyers so it's pretty cheap to do and you can recover the filing cost.

some places won't accept you just cleaning it, they need like a receipt. my mum has like a carpet cleaning machine and everything but they were still not happy because we did it

Its not worth the trouble, i have a feeling they have it all covered in the rent agreement. I only wanted it back to pay my mum back $500 for the carpets and to pay off the loan i took out to afford bond for my new place, but ill just have to pay them back over time.

Yeah but i dont have much to back up my claim, i dont have any photo evidence except for the lawn. Ive spoken with the people who lived there before us, the real estate kept their bond and sent them a $2000 invoice for repairs to the house, now they are trying to pin me for the shitty touch up job they did themselves. I dont have photos from before we started our lease except for low res ones on the entry condition report.

Did you both sign and file the hand-in condition report on the day before they did all this? Also did you take any photos before/after the original inspection and closing inspection? If it was written in the original report then fuck them, you give the place back in the report or better. as for carpet, if it was replaced just before you left then give them proof of that, or if they're that stingee just get the carpet cleaned to shut them up (DON'T USE ELECTRODRY). The important thing though is if it looks like it's the same or better as the condition report, you're covered (even if their photos are trash quality) Also unless you actually owe money rentwise, DO NOT pay additional rent after your sign out date. Which real estate is it btw?

its a shitty small name one. tbh the pictures in the entry report don't match the state of the house when we moved in and its our fault for not checking that before signing, we didn't think they'd fuck us over like this.

It’s amazing what a change of boss and workplace can do to your motivation At my previous job where I worked 9AM-3PM, I couldn’t wait until 3PM rolled around and I could get away from my boss, who had placed my desk in a way that she could look over my shoulder whenever she wanted. And despite being only 6 hour days, they just dragged on. At my new job, same industry just full-time, I am more than happy to be working 8AM-7PM. I have a wall against my back which is excellent, and my boss and supervisor are both top blokes. I don’t mind doing the hours because time just flies.

i feel that, completely burned out at my current job and i really need a new job to motivate me.

I loved my job as an analyst but i knew I was probably going to be let go about 2 months before hand when my manager started going around the office trying to find work for me. They were pretty nice about it too, gave me the rest of the day paid to sort all my stuff out.
