FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK, They're back: https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/110819/21ef97a3-017b-45d8-bd5c-44e0f25244d5/2900.jpg Steer the fuck away from Coles D:
While everyones making efforts to use less plastic and waste less resources here we have as per usual coles, making some stupid plastic shit that no ones going to even look twice at.
My gf works at coles these things are stupid popular with middle age parents.
It was hilarious when Coles introduced their NSW plastic bag ban at the same time they rolled out whatever the fuck that other set of collectables were. The fuck were they thinking
today at work i got to overhear an intellectually disabled man advocate for the liberal party his only point was "labor is letting more boats in"
Yeah, the party that hasn't been in charge of government for 7 years now is totally at fault. Labor's Fault.™
So one of my favourite things happened on the road this week. I was stuck behind someone else doing 70ish in a 90 zone. I say -ish because it is so much worse when they can’t even keep a consistent speed - unnecessarily speeding up, slowing down, speeding up again. An overtaking lane came up, wowee. I got sick of this person’s bullshit so I went straight for it. Now keep in mind this was still a 90 zone, but the other person just became a complete and utter cunt and floored it as soon as they saw me go to overtake. I literally had to get up to 130km/h just to overtake the fuckwit. Why do slow drivers suddenly accelerate when an overtaking lane comes up? Fuck me.
Chronic cunt syndrome. I regularly see fuckwits on the freeway who stay in the right lane doing 90, matching speed with another dickhead in the left lane doing the same. Not in your case, but I'm convinced these fuckwits think they are saving lives and doing the community a service by slowing everyone down and pissing people off.
To be fair sometimes I go in the right lane to overtake but left lane guy speeds up, I don't go higher than the speed limit and some bogan cunt in a 4x4 will go right up my arse because I can't move over and am unwilling to speed
Fuck why aren’t you boys posting lmao. It’s been 2 weeks since the last post. Anyone else in NSW voting this weekend? I wouldn’t call the slate of candidates for my seat ideal, but it’s hardly the worst menu of options. I’m completely disregarding the Labor incumbent because he holds the seat on a margin of >20%, and I absolutely despise safe seats. Safe seats are always taken for granted and that’s very true where I live. The Greens candidate is alright, a former chemical engineer so she actually has real world experience, but her campaign appears to be rank-and-file Greens - nothing to offer the local voters except what the NSW Greens in Sydney decide should be the party platform. Sustainable Australia has... sensible policies actually.. But their local candidate is a ghost - I can’t find out a single thing about him online. The Nationals candidate actually appears to be a top bloke and he says he’s very passionate for better mental health services in the local area, and I can appreciate that. Only problem is he actually doesn’t live in the seat he’s contesting. Really don’t care for the Animal Justice Party. Not going to support a single-issue party. Most likely going to put Labor and AJP last, and shortly make up my mind on the order of the other three. Still undecided how I’m going to vote for the upper house.
Why Labor last, but both Libs and Greens above them?
posting from australia
why the fuck would you ever want the libs in power unless you're rich or stupid?
I put libs above labour last state election. Labor had been in power too long and got complacent. Needed a shake up. Both are dicks though.
If you read my post you would know why
Fuck the libs this weekend, Gladys gerkinjerkin has fucked the state over long enough. It's like having Mike Baird all over again, except there was nothing left to sell to begin with.
for house of reps in a safe seat, do whatever. labor's had my local seat since '69 and if there was anyone other than family first and libs i wouldn't gone them senate though, don't vote libs, don't even put someone with preference to the libs above the line. those shitcunts don't deserve it and it'd be more expensive to bribe ricky "kangaroo poo" muir than buyi\ out your own bargain basement liberal
While I'm sure Labor deserves their fair share of criticism to put them at the same level is a little dishonest. The Liberals seem to just be the party for climate change denial and corporate welfare now, like seriously what was their federal climate policy for the past 7 years? Even at the state level they've been doing terribly, the new light rail in Syndey has been under construction for god knows how long now, and WestConex seems to be a never ending pit for public money.
This is SA.
Well then forgive me because I'm not too knowledgable about the previous and current governments. But I was under impression Labor did a pretty alright job, isn't South Australia the leading state in renewable enrgy now?
That's not something to be proud of. We have the highest electricity costs in the nation.
Do you have a source for that, because I'm having some trouble finding one. This blog run by a solar installation company did some calculations and it came out as the second LOWEST electricity costs in the nation. Another article by The Conversation seems to pin a hike in prices in 2016 due to gas prices, not renewable energy. I took a look at the State of the Energy Market 2018 report and in Figure 4 we see South Australia has the second highest wholesale price for the last finacial year, but has otherwised remained belowe most other states.
A blog isn't evidence, even more so one biased like that. His calculations methods are flawed at best, deliberately deceptive at worst, and completely fails to understand where the numbers come from. SA volume weighted price is consistently above every other state in the NEM. This also does not account for SA's very high grid costs. I spent three years as analyst for a electricity startup. This was my job for a while.
I was having some trouble finding that out, I also read the State of the Energy Market Report wrong, South Australia does seem to be consistently pulling up ahead in energy prices. What do you believe is the cause of the high prices then?
https://www.afr.com/business/telecommunications/pm-drags-isps-into-postchristchurch-content-control-meeting-as-sites-get-blocked-20190320-h1cl2q this doesn't sit right with me. it might be for a good reason but it sets the precedence that isps can block websites for what ever reason.
Pardon? Why do you need me to explain expensive things are expensive?
If there are any Electrical Engineers (or EE students) in here, Ormsby Guitars out of Perth are hiring. Cool company that makes cool shit, they're probably moving to design their own guitar electronics, fx pedals and/or amps. They posted in a private group for owners of their guitars before it goes up to the general public, so you heard it 'through the grapevine' :P You can contact em on their website and see what they do as well.
