There were Socialist Equality Party volunteers at the local polling place, but I think they were too shy to hand anyone a how to vote card, lol.
There was a Palmer United volunteer where I voted (Perth) and he looked like he got lost on his way to North Queensland . All the Volunteers were super friendly to each other and cracking jokes with everyone in line which I thought was nice.
this was nice to see where i voted too. one nation, greens, labor and liberal volunteers at the school gate getting along. the uap and fraser anning volunteers off by themselves far from the gate where they belong.
it astounds me that someone is running for Fraser Anning's party in my electorate, the electorate with the most Muslims in Victoria
two people out front of mine, both labor, pile of liberal sheets in a box next to them. couldn't tell if one was a turncoat or they just didn't bother to hand them out in a safe seat
Oh fuck yea ABC enabled chat on the Youtube Stream
god i hope libs dont win AGAIN
hmm? which stream is it, they didn't do it for me.

Are we really gonna get LNP government again.
It's cause of preferences from Palmer and One Nation smh. There's a significant number of people who chose a Fat Meme Man and a Racist Fish and Chip Shop Owner and though, "yeah they get my vote".
tones lost his seat to an independent running on a platform of climate change action. see ya cunt.
I am actually shocked
what a fucking shitshow
Gonna post it again cause I am disappointed. I called this Election months ago, Liberals will win. People keep thinking shit is gonna get better when there is a new Prime Minister. They don't fucking realise that he's just a spokesperson for the Party, and it's the Party fucking up. It's genius to change Prime Ministers every second year cause it gives people a reason to give them the benefit of the doubt. Whenever there is a massive fuck up, just blame the Prime Minster, then force a spill, and boom that fuck up has now been dealt with in the eyes of the public Until people start realising that it's not the actual case and it's the party, Liberals will be taking hold of the Government for, I wouldn't be surprised if we ended up with them for another Decade.
I'm annoyed the AEC unenrolled me when I moved overseas. Can't believe the Liberals are in the lead again
Little late but https://thenewdaily.com.au/news/election-2019/2019/05/18/chinese-liberal-signs-chisholm/ Imagine winning (probably) an election entirely by pulling a Donald trump and advertising literal lies about your opposition and having people be too fucking stupid to take that as a sign they should probably be voting for someone else. Another 3 years of inaction on climate change and genuine corruption fuck yeah
what the fuck that should be illegal
this aswell https://7news.com.au/politics/federal-politics/federal-election-2019-fraudulent-how-to-vote-cards-told-greens-voters-to-preference-peter-dutton-c-119724?fbclid=IwAR2mDC6rZkaAHPevz_svLWM-cxy-Me0yQf6PsZFYevps1310huqoXonD7w0&utm_source=facebook.com&utm_medium=referral This shit should be illegal and should invalidate the fucken election, a lot of dummies are easily swayed by shit like this.
Apparently the AEC is investigating it right now. I can't believe that fucking potato head kept his seat tbh. WELP, Time to organize hiding my money, grabbing a visa to the Netherlands and getting the fuck off this boat. It's done for.
i guess since i lost my job i can confirm that it was peter dutton who used to come into my work and i didnt recognise him. at that time he waa the immigration minister i believe.
It always swings back man, Labor will win the next election if they just replace Shorten but keep their policies.
I mean, it worked for the Coalition so it makes sense that they should give that a go.
Well Shorten just stood down so box one is ticked
My parents were constantly saying 'hurr both parties are the same' so I told them then they may aswell vote labor if both parties are the same and make no difference to them. Of course they vote libs anyway.
I’m actually honestly surprised that the libs won. Did everyone just forgot about the leadership spill and back stab? So much for any honest change on climate change...

It was meant to be an unwinnable election for the LNP. Labor cocked it up
Disappointing result but bad times on the horizon may mean we get some sort of lefty vision in the future
