The problem is, the old foundation-forming members of this community are all adults now, we pay taxes, have careers (many in web design and/or management positions which makes this look like even more of a train wreck), and have fucking kids
What was pretty funny and easier to accept as "the authority" when I was 12 is now just kinda... sad, and people are definitely getting fed up with it
It may be Garry's forum, but Garry by himself doesn't make for a good community (in fact he barely participates at all aside from having a very adversarial relationship with it )
The more pillar community members that are chased away/outright banned for dissenting, the less community there is for the new generation of Rust/S&box(?) brats to join, the less community there is for old members to bother sticking around and participating with, etc, etc until we deathspiral into the shitty gmod/rust support forum that we're afraid of becoming
I don't know if it's Garry's goal to have a bit of a community reboot, purging the old guard out and hoping that the new Rust brats will fill in the gaps, but it sure feels pretty fucking bad to know that Garry doesn't give a single iota of shit about the active participants who shaped this community into what it is today while he was busy building houses and cumming in vags

What happens if I give someone a coin/diamond because I really like their comment; however, I wish to rate it a different icon later on? Does that icon change, or does it stay the same because of the bartering system?
if you give a coin first then rating them a second time doesn't work, no matter what you try to rate them. if you rate them with something else first and then give them a coin, it takes away the original rating

you generally need to refresh to apply a second rating. other than that some custom css might be messing with it
