New rules means you cant get banned.

But if you still get banned you will stay banned.

That is not true. Temp bans are still around.

Look at the event log for instance.

Temporary bans are Facepunch's warning systems.
Perma bans are bans.

That is somewhat true. Generally now of something is ban worthy it is also generally permaban worthy, as it would have to be something pretty serious. With that said we are still given the discretion to determine the ban length.

If you want a non-blunt reply forum discussion was deleted because it was redundant, we have an entire section of the forum dedicated to discussing the forum. As for the refugee camp the amount of people being banned has fallen dramatically as almost everything that was once banable is no longer banable. The only bans you're really going to see are for spam bots and folks who post pretty nasty shit or something illegal, which would have been grounds for a straight permaban from the get go. If for whatever reason we need a rc again we can make one, but realistically the types of bans you're going to see are going to be pretty clear cut.
