What were the early days of LMAO pics like?
When I started it, funny image threads had come and gone. I have an eccentric sense of humor and there's things that crack me up beyond reason and sanity. Really, I just wanted a place to share the pics I laughed way too hard at. This mix of off-the-wall pics and some real winners caused people to just throw shit on the wall and see what sticks. You tell me how that was different than every other thread created here, because I was surprised that this took off like it did!
How’d you find FP and why’d you leave?
I used to post regularly on the Steam forums, specifically Off-Topic (when images were allowed there, when it ran on vBulletin 2, I started the true first LMAO pics thread). But eventually SUF left me wanting something more, and FP was where a lot of us went. I ended up leaving when I started to get bored of internet forums though. God I do miss some of the insanity though, especially the OIFY… or maybe I just miss being insane.

I absolutely live for shit like this. Internet history is one of the most fascinating things in the world to me, so seeing statistics and factoids about a thread I lurked 4 years before actually signing up on this account for the forum astounds me. I always appreciate the drive FP members seem to have for preserving the community's history and long running in-jokes.
