i have a dilemma and i'd like some thoughts
so finally, i'm getting a gaming laptop, right? but, i am in a dilemma
right now i'm looking at one of these

which, in my preferred config, costs about $1450 + tax and everything. HOWEVER, I do get free shipping and it'd be here by thursday if i ordered it right now
i found another website though, that gives me the same exact config but for like $1390, but I have to shell out an extra $30 on shipping and it won't be here until august 1st at the very earliest
do i go for the amazon option? or save $60 but wait longer?
or alternatively, do i just wait and save my money for a better option instead?
If you're willing to be patient, either go for the one that saves you $60 and wait a bit longer or save your money and wait for better options to come up. If you decide to save your money and wait for better options, I think I recall ibuypower having some pretty good gaming laptops available for around $1600 and up.
i'd prefer it to be here faster but it's not like i need it now, y'know?
i do get paid next week and my options should be opening up, but i don't know if i'm patient enough to wait that long to pull the trigger on a computer
If you can push the expected shipping date ahead of expectations, then it might still be worth going with the cheaper option (so long as it doesn't end up costing more than the offer on Amazon, of course).
The next shipping option costs me over $100, which pushes it way over what it would cost on Amazon.

Finally got the drive to start making games again. Spent 40 minites drawing a placeholder tileset that ended up being petty decent. Aseprite is a miracle for pixel art.
