A majority of my day was spent setting up my grandmother's new phone. A good portion of that was mailing pictures from the old one to myself to send back to her. This is because her old phone is not recognized as a storage device when hooked to a computer, and it took 20 minutes or so per picture due to it having 3G internet.
Then I had to spend a while trying to explain things. This was made difficult as she kept immediately jumping to negative conclusions before I got 3 words in. Things started to slowly sink in when I explained how she could take a few days, actually use and get used to the new phone and then complain if needed or I could just call the phone company and have her switched back to her old, barely working one.
Now she is calling me every 10 minutes or so, getting a feel for it. The minor inconvenience of being called so frequently is nothing compared to trying to get her on her old phone.
I won the $20 bet, gonna stay on diet for as long as I care.
never checked my weight cause I don’t own a scale but I have gone down two belt loops on my work outfit.

What did you get? I very recently got the C24FG73 and I'm loving it despite its flaws.
AOC G2460PF. only issue i'm having is i cant seem to get the right brightness and contrast settings. its all sorta washed out.
Yeah washed-out color is just inherent to TN panels, it's not very fixable. It can be helped a little with calibration but don't get your hopes too high.
